We do not have FC. :) And we do not have Modman too. :) Sorry.

Please contact the folks at LockOnFiles... I'm sure they will be thrilled to host these for you, as well as modify them at your request to be Modman and other mod compatitble. I found this while watching my Setup-1.bin download at 22KB/sec. grrrr

Update: There are three versions of these files now on LockOnFiles. The total replacement/non-ModMan versions for 1.1 and 2.0, as well as a ModMan-installable pack for 1.1 , but apparently only for those with the CAW mod.

USSR_Gys71 and Scart...

I just finished loading and playing around with your new Eagle in FC 1.12. IT IS AMAZING! Shape is perfect! Animated Nozzles are awesome! New fuel tanks (which are illuminated by flares, cannon fire, and missile launches) are amazing! New skins are wonderful! The front cockpit and HUD look incredible, even at full zoom. May I say again, the shape is absolutely PERFECT! Great job.

Don't know if you're planning on continuing to evolve your model like Walmis did in releasing improvements and upgrades (which was great of him), but This model is TOO good to not put some of the following finishing touches on if and when you have time.... :-) [No Rush of course] :

1. The pilot and ejection seat need some detail work / skinning. Some animation like the Virtual Blue Angels and Sim-Mod A-10s' pilots would be amazing.

2. The anti-collision lights could appear quite a bit sharper and brighter.

3. Five stages of Afterburner textures could use improvement (Walmis' AB textures look wonderful and would be a good reference)

Thanks again for the new Eagle!

Cheers,

Wilbur81

ps - Oh yeah, the model is FPS friendly on my machine, just like you promised. :-) thanks again

I was so free to mirror the 2.0-file on my own host - no warranty, but it should be a bit faster than the freehosters.

Get it here: http://battlecorps.eu/F-15C.RAR

If the file is updated, could someone drop me a note to niels.wittje at gmx.de to update the file?

There's no "Overkill". There's only "open fire!" and "time to reload".

And of course Valery. Without him there would be nothing. He made all these beautiful skins.

Thanks guys. We are glad to see that you like our model.

1. The pilot and ejection seat need some detail work / skinning. Some animation like the Virtual Blue Angels and Sim-Mod A-10s' pilots would be amazing.

Pilot low-poly, perhaps too low-poly, but I see no sense to spend on it thousands of polygons. The same animation without the "skeletal animation" looks funny. This will not happen. It is my opinion and you can not convince me, sorry.

2. The anti-collision lights could appear quite a bit sharper and brighter.

Anyone can make their Lights and put them in TempTextures.

Files are called BANO-Blue-128x128.tga, BANO-Red-128x128.tga and BANO-White-128x128.tga. I like such as is.

3. Five stages of Afterburner textures could use improvement (Walmis' AB textures look wonderful and would be a good reference)

May be ... someday ...no promises

To Gys & co. :

Thanks for the model and for lettings us latter batches to have a taste of the Eagle Pie too.. (us still in FC 1.12 & earlier..)

Though i know i might be at risk of problems & issues since this model was optimized for DCS & FC2.0

I wonder what is cause this problem...

There's something that blocks the view of the lower HUD

screenshot012om.jpg

That problem was not present in Walmis or the Stock F-15 model..

I used and installed the F-15 FC1.12 version Modman pack..

Embarrassing newbie question. Got original lockon, added FC original on top, added Flaming cliffs 1.12b added F15C mod for 1.12b, get runtime error. Now I know you extract files and copy to correct directories. Since only lockon has scripts, config and bazar im guesing this is right place. Did previously add 3go? Could this be prob? Cheers for any help I know this is insultingly easy to many on this forum.

Awesome model guys! I think I won't start modding until Modman supports FC2 to keep things in order.

Yep, same here.

Excuse, I not absolutely understand about what you speak. If you wish to use this mod together with other mods, it will be better to use Modman7 repack from Lockonfiles.

Nice shot MoGas ! :)
