Hey EA gave it weapons in LHX Attack Chopper, don't see why ED couldn't, too. :D

Yes it was a tongue-in-cheek comment. I just don't think a thrust-vectoring jet that can come to a clumsy hover for a short time while consuming massive amounts of fuel really counts as being a 'merger' between a helo and a plane. Please, carry on. :)

Is there any other planes that get a closer merger to helo? Oh no thats right... :) The systems would be fun, nozzle control, always close to your JPT limit, duct pressure, hover performance, water flow/content, sniper, brimstone, carrier ops... etc

Manufacturers of turboprops and pilots of turboprops might disagree :D

Things with spinny bits strapped to the front of engines dont count as jets :p

PS: Then again, that thing uses turboshafts. Still quite jet-engine like ;)

They may well do, trainee RAF pilots always insist they fly jets aswell but I cant find it in myself to describe the Tucano as a jet regardless of what type of engine it has.

If you insist, I'll stick pick the F-35B anyway ... the Harrier is just not in the cards :D

Ah the famous operationally proven and legendary F-35B, good choice! ;) Maybe in 40 years when it finally enters service.

Sure, I'ld make an alpha-tester for that airplane... Perhaps if ED needs some testers, I'ld love to use there my skills useful xD

There's no "Overkill". There's only "open fire!" and "time to reload".

I'm definitely going to have to say F/A-18. I don't mind whether or not its a legacy hornet or a super hornet, just as long as I get carrier ops! If its not a hornet then an f16 is fine.

Go back to P225 and then you'll see why everyone knows that it will be a FIXED WING US FIGHTER

The next flyable is a US fighter.

I represent myself and a bunch of my friends who can't speak Engligh vote the Su-27 Flanker to be the next flyable aircraft in the DCS.:)

Hope friends in the community and in the forum who have the same wish support it. :)

Oh I see, one side per aircraft at a time. Well, in that case we support the Su-27 Flanker to be the next next aircraft in the DCS :smilewink:

Unfortunately, ED's military contracts have a lot of weight when it comes to them making the decision about the next aircraft, and it seems right ATM the 'red' aircraft holders aren't buying.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.
