Joe Kurr Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 (edited) but many people do not have it installed because of the manual steps need to get it to work. Then there is the nasty fact that player names don't show in the tacviews. Very interesting! Please share when you are complete!! I imagine you have same issue of not showing player names? Finally had time to check, and it seems names will be logged only if the mission designer replaced the "Pilot #1" names in the mission editor. So whatever names you put there, will be visible in the debrief. Below is the result of a simple test-mission I did, with two client aircraft, named "Testpilot 1" and "Testpilot 2" When joining the mission, I used my own nickname: "Joe Kurr", and selected the first slot, flew around a bit, then pressed Escape, selected the second slot, and flew around with that one until I crashed. Another thing I noticed, this may be a bug: On Kutaisi, the shelters don't open when you spawn inside, but you can safely exit through the closed doors. Can you please mention Joe what files of FC2 do you ned to modify to get your debrief? If for example, a server file checks export.lua for the client to match the same file, will you're debrief still work? Thanks. Edited April 20, 2010 by Crunch
Joe Kurr Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 My debrief viewer parses the debrief.log file in the Temp folder. This file is automatically created on the server, don't know if this will also work on the clients, but you've got to start somewhere :) Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award
GoonerTC Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Really enjoying flying on this server! keep it up fellas :-)
Ghost Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Thanks for all the positive comments. As stated before a lot of time, work and effort goes into making the server what it is. We have a lot of good guys over at the 104th. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
theGozr Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Having a server is a pain of work and to deal with,.... so a big thanks to the servers and the 104th.. Fly it like you stole it..

Good luck on completing it and I look forward to it if you are kind enough to share.
coder1024 Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Any chance of adding more A-10 slots? :) They always seem to fill up. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] coder1024 72nd Virtual Fighter Wing Falcon 4.0 Allied Force Pit Trainer FalconLobby
104th_Crunch Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 There are 100 triggered units for Blue to kill in 4 groups. More A10s will kill them too quick :) May I suggest a shiny new Su-25T? :)... I guess we can add a couple more A10s. We are testing stability right now. After that we can update the mission. Ka-50 should be coming around the corner soon as well. After we are stable we will also work on some new missions. I wish we could add A-10s to Red. I believe it would be possible but clients would have to have a small mod as well. Something to look into.
coder1024 Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 No problem; No sense in breaking things. Just a good reason to go learn the 25T then :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] coder1024 72nd Virtual Fighter Wing Falcon 4.0 Allied Force Pit Trainer FalconLobby
fearlessfrog Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I've been playing on the 104th server for a couple of nights now (not continuously :) ) and just wanted to say a 'thanks' to those running/setting it up. Really recommend it to anyone thinking of trying MP. Long time sim player and FC2 has been an absolute blast to play. Teamspeak, the players and the server's mission have been way beyond what I was expecting. Cheers! PS In the recent long running setup the A-10's were fun to fly in the dark once the sun went down. The most recent NVG mod worked ok too. ~~~ http://www.mudspike.com
4c Hajduk Veljko Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 I've just tried playing on the server and it looks like the my cockpit view problem is not there any more. That's really good news and now I can play on your server as well. Boberro Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Is it possible to add more Su-25Ts to blue? There are only two...;) Maybe Su-24 as SEAD platform ? :tomato: :D Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
igormk Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Is it possible to add more Su-25Ts to blue? There are only two...;) I agree!! A-G is much more popular with FC2 I think, and often all striker slots are occupied when you enter the mission. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
104th_Crunch Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 There are 4 A10s, 2 Su25T and 4 Su25A on Blue. On Red there are 4 Su25Ts and 4 Su25A. Of curse the Ka 50s are ready in the mission for when the patch comes out. I suggest that you try a Su25T on Red if the 25Ts are full on Blue. I am working on a rework of "Moonshield" for FC2 on our server. There will be a bit more mud movers in this mission thanks. I agree!! A-G is much more popular with FC2 I think, and often all striker slots are occupied when you enter the mission. My mama always said, "always leave them wanting more." :)
Panzertard Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Maybe in an update to great Servman tool, we be able to filter the messages better. I'm sorry to report - it seems I'm not able to do it as such as it stands now. I'm not able to override the "send_chat"-event that happens from within the game-engine, so I cannot intercept any other messages that the one's Servman creates. The mind is like a parachute. Joe Kurr Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Hi Joe, can you give a progress update on your debrief tool please? Thanks Not much news to report. For the debrief to work correctly, I need to alter the export.lua script as well. I have found some lua scripts which might come in handy, but I still have to figure out how they work. At the moment I'm working on an export tool to show flight paths in Google Earth, maybe I can combine the two. Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award
kingneptune117 Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 This is strange but since the 104th put on this new integrity check I cant connect. I even downloaded those files they suggested, but nothing. It doesnt show up in the server list, nor can I connect directly with the ip :( "When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return." - Leonardo da Vinci Intel i7-4790k | Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo heat sink | Thermaltake Core V71 case | 750W EVGA PSU | 8gb G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 RAM | MSI Z97 Gaming 5 LGA 1150 motherboard | Samsung SSD | ASUS STRIX GTX 970 | Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog | TIR 5 | Razer Deathadder | Corsair K70
ScEBlack1 Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 It is most likely a mod which you may have installed which is conflicting with the integrity check, if you use modman then I would suggest to unload your mods and then try again...if it works then load mod by mod while checking. I had to unload several mods to pass the check.
kingneptune117 Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I tried uninstalling every last one. Still no luck. This blows. 104th_Crunch Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Whoa, slow down. File Integrity check will have nothing to do with you not seeing the server in the list and that is just a coincidence. Someone in our Teamspeak had the same problem last night. I believe it has something to do with the fact that there is more than normal internet lag between your connection and the server, therefore you are not seeing it the list. Please let me know if it reappears. In the meantime, please try connecting via the direct IP options available in the MP interface. The IP for the 104Th server is 64.182.113.193 port 10308.

Unfortunately still not working. I can see the ping being a problem though, as my ping for almost all the servers is in the hundreds...I have no clue why. I have wireless internet and get like only 2 bars that may be the problem. I cant get it wired though...parents wont let me... Please help me if you can, thanks for the quick response. I was talking to Mustang about this earlier he too said someone else had the same problem. Also, can you give me the direct IP to the multiplayer server, not the teamspeak server?
