Trying to get a fixed product that I paid for and have supported since before you were playing the lockon series?

Sounds like the "Beta Testers" are getting upset for me posing the question, "Who tested the FM's"

My Interest is first and foremost dogfighting and flight modeling of aircrafts, and currently FC2 is a pitiful dogfighting platform, which has been made evident numerous times including in this video and the lack of inertia.

Why is it when someone talks about Falcon all of you get upset?

Am i missing something? Are you all so blinded by the gospel of Lockon that you cannot see past it? You do realize people are entitled to their own views right? After all those views and opinions are formed with a certain set of experiences, and I must be coming from some where to say the things I do..

Do you believe in ostracizing a person merely for his own opinions?

Instead of asking Why hasn't the Lockon series improved that much in the past 7 years you continue to sing the same song over and over. Why are you happy with mediocrity? I certainly am not, and I don't apologize for thinking the way I do.

There should always be a voice of decent, at least that way things get fixed. Look what agreeing has gotten all of you in the past 7 years in the lockon series. Im sorry but it feels like there is no added depth in the game, which most of us were looking for.

Think about what I said, keep your ego's in check and then come to a fair and balanced conclusion not for me but for yourselves, because in the grander scheme of things I don't matter. Don't try to be politically correct at the cost of compromise, you only delude yourselves.

If you are satisfied GOOD FOR YOU, your expectations are different from mine.

I am not, thats the bottom line and if you feel the same, Voice it, it's your right.

Don't be a bunch of yes men. Think for yourselves...

It only cheapens debate when you ask juvenile questions like "Then what are you doing here?" Are you trying to score political points at my expense? OK if you think you are, ask for what purpose? I'll give you an answer... It is to satisfy your own ego.

I like this cheap frase from american movies (dont ask what your country can do for you, ask yourself what you can do for your country blah, blah). So there's my question.... What you can do for yours? People already gave 30$ for something they don't expected. We fought Mighty Power Rangers every day on servers, and that's WHY we fight here to bring small community back online, because like THIS, game is not even close to be popular as before. S! to my friend =RvE=Fusion, you are more then right.

All of you should respect ALL sims and projects in that branch, maybe they be delayed, old or full of errors. Nevertheless its work for YOUR entertainment.

Bashing one sim against another is ridiculous. You should at least fly and try various sims (even as DEV) to get a better picture and to learn.

But a healthy amount of criticism (creative) is also ok.

sorry, but we see more and more often people who complain, even in our own squad, people complain the way we fight in our su27 against others.

i saw that very very often during all the hours in the hl, when it was still fc1.12

 

to many people complained about atoo weak f15 and way to weak weapons.

 

ok, i know the charts of the eagle, and well it was toweak in some regards. now it is fixed.

 

when i take yodas words right, only the drag issue will be fixed. ok, then there needs to be fixed the engine values of the su27, or at least the engine values of the eagles need to be fixed at low speeds, to bring both ack together at the same level of detail or not detail, does not matter which way you want to see it.

 

to be honest, the su27 and the mig29 twrs are not correct then when we look at the fact that the f15c twr is supposed to be correct.

 

in some way it sometimes looks like policy when i look at the product fc2.0.

some of our squadmembers even went that far, that they said the new product is aimed for the u.s. market, and this can be seen in the final product of fc2.0.

maybe they are right, but i do not want to bring up such things, cause thats none of my bussiness.

 

people are not so happy here with the new fc2.0, and even some say, next modules will be well thou8ght if they buy any more products.

 

and one thing is strange.

people like ggtharos allways claim that they have real pilots to work with?

so why do you come up with silly things like eccm wormup phases?

when you have real pilots around they should be able to tell you that the wormup phase is about 10min on the ground, but airborne it can be activated at any time, bla bla bla.

 

so once i have read that ED is temped to go as real as it can get.

 

why you guys do that with the BS but do change policy with FC?

 

people will thank you when you do not make itarcade, cause people want realism, not hawx.

 

i think the attempt of ED to please the community is good, but when they try to please people who have not all the background of real systems, like 50% of our virtual squad does, cause we have real pilots and engeneers and GCi controller in our squad, then they aim for arcade, not for a sim, unfortunatly.

well, i hope things will be fixed the right way and ED makes it good and solid.

Lock On was always designed to be a survey sim (ie not entirely realistic). DCS is the natural progression away from survey sims to study sims, where things are modelled closer to the real world systems.

 

As for the ECM, it was changed to close an exploit online that allowed unscrupulous flyers to cheat.

 

No matter what ED do it will be wrong in somebodies eyes. It has always been this way. All we can hope for is that anything that is glaringly wrong, will be fixed.

I think you all had a chance to express your views on the matter.

As such it's been debated - the whole thread now is turning away from it's original topic and the personal war has started.

 

And a good final word from Nate, keep in mind what this sim is - it doesn't have the proper capabilites to do everything right.
