They do, haven't you heard? ;)

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

After reading these forums for more than a year and not seeing one childish youtube-like comment; I've finally seen one!

Troll.

funny, i would think that trolling is bringing up a coment that no one notice or took as a joke and try to make something out of nothing, but i guess this has nothing to do with this topic, sorry.

fakking hell, i missed that :helpsmilie: must reread all the posts again :P

Pulling hard G with your head weighing about the same as the Alpha Male Warthog back at base......The last thing on your mind will be remembering to crane your neck to the side to admire the view of the wing wouldn't you think ;)

Actually.....in my old Navy flying days as an IP in the training command, I'd come in for the break at home field, pull about 4.5g's and purposely look at the contrails coming off the wingtips, thinking...this is cool. Now granted it was a teeny weeny T-34C and we weren't pulling as much as an F/A-18, A-10 or F-16, but we still did it. I know those guys do too.

Vapor effects would of course be nice, but I have to admit I've been waiting to see wing flex in a sim for a while now. DCS would probably have enough details in different aspects of modeling to include such features, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see. There's of course much more important stuff to tackle first, but then again the features might not be mutually exclusive.

FSX has wing flex, flight modeling is suspect though.

Yes, but it does add a lot to immersion in a dogfight, because it tells you what your adversary is doing. If a dogfighter module should find it's way into dcs, that is. :)

hey, i remeber the Flanker2.5 has this effect. long time no see it since LockOn:P

Not only it had this effect. It was probably the most realistic looking too - both LERX and wing tips vapor effects. The effect looks was optimized for high speed/corner speed. Just perfect. You have to see it in movement to appreciate it. No screenshot will show this. Salute to the creator of the effect!

Concur. My computer can't handle the highest end stuff, but if those features were introduced into A-10C, I really would shell out the insane cost to buy a higher end processor. Good weather simulation, wing vapor, this kind of things are part of what we intuitively associate with flying. Weather is one of THE single most important factors in aviation, and all we can do is sunny, some clouds, or overcast. Pretty limited...

However... not a complaint. Just a wish.

Please, improve the smoke effects and the way the smoke acts in explosion! :)

At the moment (in black shark) they behave unrealistic in my opinion..

it would add much immersion to the otherwise beautiful sim :)

cheers!

Maximize support for pit builders (which is already not bad):

-- exporting MFD and screen data to smaller/separate monitors or at least other windows that can be moved/resized.

-- programming functionality for TM MFD panels

-- allow for development of drivers for Saitek panels (which now work with FSX and X-plane only) and Saitek instrument panels, either using lua data or some other connectivity.

Ripcord

EDIT: And please, please PLEASE plan for additions of more theatres in the world, like some kind of SDK for third parties, so that we will have other places to fly going forward

Afghanistan or some kind of middle east theater would be neat. Maybe not as big of a deal to create now that we have Nellis desert tiles?

Either way the module will be great regardless of where it takes place.

Thanks for the link. I noticed a quote from Michelange:

He's working with ED's terrain tools for DCS BS and FC. Don't know if DCS A-10C is compatible.

I hope that's not the case. Boy does he do good work, it looks great.

I'd like the ability to be able to run after your pilot is on the ground. That slow walk can take forever sometimes if you want to check out stuff, and to make it really cool perhaps we could have the option to "turn on" our survival radio and listen to all that new radio chatter as we take our stroll?

The ability to run the secondary mfd windows across a LAN, though I doubt this will happen. The ability to stop rendering of mfds on main screen if they are being exported to minimize the performance hit. An easier way to set up secondary screens and optimization to minimize effect on fps-this i think is in the cards.

I like the camera following the missle/bomb to the the target but what would be cool is to have a camera on the ground near the target but looking at the missile coming in. Just a small idea I would love.:megalol:
