I've revisted this campaign--it's really a solid product--excellent all around--nothing out there even CLOSE to the level of detail and immersiveness--without losing the "realism". If the ppl who are complaining about paying would realize what a production like this takes--they'd put their put in their mouth. E.g.--the woman FD/liason in the first few missions--if the producers revealed just how much time it took to do her voice recordings--and she is obviously (as are all of the characters) professional, or at least very talented--I think everyone would be surprised. Speaking from experience--it ain't easy. I imagine the amount of time it took for ALL the voice-overs to be created was well over 100 hours.

Help with mission 9 **SPOILER ALERT**

Help!--need a "hint" from someone who has gotten 100% on Mission 9 (find scout locations--waypoint furthest away is hairy--the river ends there, and you have quickly turn around).

So I got 5 points for the following:

wayoint 3

waypoint 5

waypoint 8

Got 10 points each for:

Locating Voron 1

Locating Voron 3

And got 15 points for:

Locating Voron 2

For locating "bandits with jeep/guns": 20

For finishing flight plan I received another: 20

That's 90 out of 100--can't for the life of me, find out which waypoint I'm missing (ABRISS says I hit each one) or if there is something else.

Any "hints" would be greatly appreciated--as first I flew the mission twice because I couldn't find Voron 2 and 3 (barely had enough fuel to make it back to URSS each time)--now I've done the 90% thing twice.

Thanks!!

The success of the mission depends on the precise execution of the flight plan. Must be very precisely move along the route and will be done.. For this mission, it is the most common.

P.S. The letter will answer later. Sorry.

First off, I really love the campaign - I think it's one of the best campaigns that I've played in all my sim time! Thanks for all the hard work and effort by your team - i'm really hoping that you will be able to complete the campaign when the DCS:BS patch comes out. I'd happily pay more for the campaign, since I really think it adds to the overall realism of the sim - i'm not able to play multiplayer because of internet access.

a quick question - I know the missions are locked for editing, but i'd really like to be able to tweak some of the sim parameters - labels, immortality and external views. Whenever I edit the mission, and then save, then the waypoints are always missing when I fly the mission - they always seem to point 498km away. Is there any solution?

Once again, thanks for a really GREAT campaign!

Right now im playing the Georgian Havoc campaign wich i feel is very good so far, love the voice acting and the variation to the missions.

After completion, i would like to try this one.

So, how would you guys rate this campaign compared to the Georgian Havoc campaign? For those of you who have played both that is.

Leroni, as you have suspended production of part two, would you consider selling the 7 (?) missions you have completed so far?

Or are you planning to carry on work on part 2 when the compatibiity patch for DCS:BS is released?

Or are you working on a new campaign for DCS A-10C?

Thanks,

Toby

I made the payment yesterday but i did not receive any download link.

How long does it take usually? Can't wait to try it! :)

For the sales organization we are using the service Plimus.com. This service provides a download link within 24 hours, your payment is confirmed. Very often it happens that the user reads the instructions, or casually ignores them.

Anyone who bought a GV campaign can turn to me personally, and you will be assisted immediately. You will definitely get something for what you pay for.

Vergeev squad at the moment is waiting for additional operational data. We are waiting for a patch for the DCS: Ka-50 BS. It will happen soon. If you need any details - PLS contact ED team.

As soon as we'll be able to get the patch, we will proceed to a serious test of the simulator and provided opportunities for programming. After that we will manufacture the Second part of the campaign GV. I do not think that the new conditions it will be easy, but I'm sure will be met.

We want this very, very bored in this business.

You ask about the campaign for the DCS: A10-C. We have plans for this simulator. At the moment the script is ready for this mission 42 simulator. But ... I do not know very thorough management of the aircraft. This is a very important point. In the priority of the Ka-50.

Sorry, we do not have a factory. We, like you, ordinary people who must care for families, children and work. Some of us have military experience. We love Simulations DCS tried seriously to any business. Around its own queue

I have never got into formation flying, I never understood how it worked or had the patience to learn how to do it properly.

After (fighting) trying to master the controls over the last few weeks, I am finally starting to understand how to fly the Black Shark and last night my skills were really put to the test, in Mission Two of the epic Vergeev Campaign.

I have struggled with this mission for the last three days, trying to understand what I was doing wrong, why I couldn't keep up with lead, constantly losing visual with him... I guess that must be what it's like in real life for new pilots...

After finding some tips in this thread, I set aside a couple of hours last night and tried again to conquer this challenge, this was my fourth attempt and I wanted to thank the developers and celebrate my success with this After Mission Report.

I highly recommend the Vergeev Campaign to anyone looking for realism.

I second this! I was halfway through this wonderful campaign when i got shot down..

Unfortunately i was playing with a pilot that was mortal, so I have to restart the campaign from scratch.

I love how this campaign plays out, the immersion is total. Really like the voice chatter, and everything just feels real. Hope I can buy this lady that talks to me over the radio a beer sometime, love her accent

Great little story you put together there Toby, I enjoyed reading it and I remember that mission. :joystick:

Toby23, excellent! Thank you very much. I, as an author and developer GV campaign, it was very interesting to read your report. I can tell you that you have writing skills. This is a very good job.

I might add that there is a literary adaptation of the 29th mission of the campaign Group VERGEEV. It's 100 & 1 DAY Of WAR. But... This great story (about life, colleagues, friendship and tough war) in Russian. I could not find a translator. My level of English does not allow transfer story to be understood every detail of the nature of the narrative.

100 & 1 DAY Of WAR dedicated to all officers who honorably and professionally carry out his duty, as well as all pilots Group VERGEEV.

The story is written by real events that occur in the campaign GV. :)

Mission 2 is hell. That MI-28 pilot is going wild in the mountains, trying to evade me at all costs. I wonder why the army needed the KA-50 for the mountains, that MI-28 seemed to be much more agile.

I got the 100%, but that was serious work ;)

Downloaded the demo and played the first mission (11). That was excellent fun. Yes the radio traffic is hard to hear at first but you quickly get used to it. Escorting the convoy even without combat was interesting enough (i wonder what they made of my flying :megalol:) Havem't had this much fun without combat for ages.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

Anybody got a track for mission 16?

I can only get 49%, the mission just stops after I killed the convoy that tries to escape. I see the 2 interceptors going down and that's it.

Edit:

And now the georgian interceptors kill all russian fighters and then they engage me. Mission just stops.

Dammit, I'll skip the mission for now until I see a successful track...

Start up, wait at about 200m height behind the end of the runway. You will see the MI-28 taxiing. Follow the helicopter (Yes, that sucker flies like a drunk). When you come back to the airfield, land at your starting point, set your radio to intercom, call the ground crew for refueling, get back into the air. Wait again behind the end of the runway and monitor the runway for the next helicopter.

It sucks, yes.

Well, I get the first part of the mission complete, but when I return to the airfield, I contact the ground crew for refuel, but get no response and no fuel. Confirm it's a RRR ( Rotor Running Refuiling) or I do I have to shut down completely. I wait for a few minutes, then hover off the end of 24, but wait and wait.......i am doing something wrong, but can figure it out....
