Yes, there are many changes in my screen, we have modified the textures of the terrain and also HDR, but unfortunately they are all private mods. combatace Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Special screen A-10C DCS part 3 I have always thought this should be corrected. This type of reflection of sun in water comes when the sun is too low, i.e. the angle of incidence is very high and the viewer is at ground level. So in plane this view will come only when the sun out of visual range for the viewer on ground. cichlidfan Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Was a bit of a Wooaaaaa moment :) That's unique, I don't think I have seen that one mentioned in the manual. 159th_Viper Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Hmm, rotors are blown off before ejection ... cichlidfan Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Left 3 cables vs 6 Right cables :) When did those become 'collideable'? I swear I have flown the A-10 through them. I has been quite a while so I could be mistaken. 159th_Viper Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Always have been since I can remember and that's going back to Lockon Flaming Cliffs 1.12a/b. If you fly through them you can hear the crack as they explode - always did it in the T-Toad. No damage to the plane apart from the sound-effect. On the other hand, with the Kamov it's like a scalpel - they shear your rotors clean off :D Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? diveplane Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 not good.. https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
Impact Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Yesterday I flew a bit with the A10, and thought about chasing some power lines. It seems I underestimated the A10s wingspan, and lost the left wing. In such a low height I immediately kissed mother earths ugly face without even saying hello. She did not like it. Not. One. Bit. I thought you cant lose a wing by clipping some powerlines? Could someone clear that up for me? ------=:: I FLY BLEIFREI ::=------
Jona33 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 You should be able to hit the pylons (which obviously results in a large fireball, nice collapse as well) but you shouldn't be able to be damaged by wires (In A-10). Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
ALDEGA Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Don't underestimate such power lines ... they're not exactly light, thin or weak.
combatace Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Don't underestimate such power lines ... they're not exactly light, thin or weak. Right they can be more than 2 inches thick with half an inch of steel core.
