The picture you selected is not with full weight on the front strut - it's in acceleration.

 

Comparison from the same batch of pictures - on the left if the one you quoted, on the right is a plane that is cold/dark.

You are correct...the strut is over serviced in the simulator. You wouldn't tow the jet with the nose strut that high let along launch an ACFT.

This just happened to me... I was trying to land without engines at Batumi, didn't have enough speed so hit the water, instead of dying I sank.
