That is a very promising project to rejuvenate the S-300 system, thank you! On the other hand the ATZ-10 JP-8 fuel truck (for NATO a/c) is a good addition for an air base group. In LOFC1 there is a skin available for that fuel truck - I guess it was made by Mitch. That skin was great and gave that vehicle a realistic look. I'm looking forward to see the mods...tks for ur hard work.

Pls check the dimensions of the radar 76N6 Clam Shell in comparison with the MAZ truck. The 40V6M Semimobile Mast is 23.8 meters, the 40V6MD Semimobile Mast reaches 38.8 meters. For more info on the subject, read this http://www.ausairpower.net/clamshell.html.

You’ll find all the necessary data refering to this mod including images.

The BB (Big Bird) radar also needs a double-check.

According to a source the S-300xx system is ready to operate in 5 to 10 min, the counterpart Patriot takes up to 60 min.

This is really weird when ED keeps poor models for all edtions of LO, as this MAZ, F-14 or KC-135 and keeps good ones, like Harrier away from daylight. Hope these new, high quality models made by ED will be included in future editions of DCS (Ka-50 and A-10C don't really make me buy this simulator as yet). Until so, im very gratefull to people like Tomcatz who do so much to keep LO most playable sim on the market.

Well done m8

A forum member by the name of Significant did two beautiful models of the S-300PS 5P85C and 5P85D, unfortunately I cant find the post now, I think it was from the Russian side. For unknown reasons (time?) they weren't included with DCS: BS and aren't in the A-10C beta..

Hi,

oh - there did somebody build a S-300 system, didn`t he? That sounds very interesting- I hear it for my first time. However- It should be interesting to see, how some other guy build this system.

Well, I thing that a Russian lightern grey/green camoflage will be okay for all seasons- But on the other side a winter camo sounds good. I`ll paint it but I don`t know if a skin file for ground objects will work in FC2.0 .

Basecally I produce the models for FC2.0 but I`m pretty sure that I will be able to insert the models into DCS A10 module. I wondered a little bit, that I see the old S-300 models made for LOMAC series in DCS. But well - no problem. I`ll wait for the final DCS release and them I`ll trye to implement some models...

Thanks for all the nice words and support guys- Best wishes

TOM

Uhhhhhh :worthy: This launcher looks very good. The model looks like the precise3dmodeling-model. It should have arround 150.000 faces. It could be a little bit to much for the engine but it looks great. ´Thanks for finding this beautiful work. And thanks for the compliment - Now I have to rework my skin-textures. I feel much inspirated now. Greetings,

TOM
