bumfire Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 (edited) TBH, I dont see what the big deal is ? the dude uploaded the entire movie minus the music, GA is still named as the maker at the end of the video, the dude who posted it is just advertising the game and what it looks like and where to buy serials from, which in all liklihood can be legitimate, I have no idea if they are legit or not, but he hasnt exactly "ripped" GA's movie, he just reuploaded it to utub with different music like millions of other utub videos. I see it as an ad, the dude puts the video up on youtube as an ad for people to goto that site to buy a serial for it. If it is a legit site then I really dont see the Big deal about why their is a thread 4 pages long dedicated to the subject of GA's video being ripped. I might be missing something, if I am please share, but I really dont see this as the big deal that everyone else seems to think it is. Afterall, he isnt saying "He" made it is he ? The simple fact that he uses it to broadcast a CD Key that DOESN'T exist, and for a game released 2 days ago. The guy is a cheater and a disgusting loser. He might not have hacked DCS A-10C, but look at the plenty of other games he did. I hope with all that illegal downloading he does (most likely) I hope to the dear heavens he gets a boatload of spam and viruses. I know that their website is most presumably legitimate, but if he didn't receive legal copyright from all the game makers to what games he sells. Hundreds of people robbing banks don't make bank robbery legal 2nd she (listed as Paula Becker in the profile) is using the work of somebody else (GA and ED/TFC) to "advertise" her seemingly illegitimate business of "selling" non existant game keys. 3rd if a company uses your(copyrighted) video to promote a car ad on television and saves a few million bucks on the production of such video alone... you definitely would sue them! :gun_sniper: If a kid who liked the video but not the music is uploading this shit it would be annoying, at least, but acceptable. I know GA has coordinated every picture in the vid with the notes of his choice of music. And probably 23 years he has worked on it. But then came this guy. After 10 minutes of consideration he put another soundtrack in there. And it worked better. A miracle ;)

There is a lot of vids on YouTube using other vids and songs etc. but they are more or less stuff kids planted to be recognised or show off etc. lame, but nothing to be more than annoyed.
