Thanks we're all looking forward to it, I'm only 30 minutes by train from the main site. Just don't all expect an invite to come stay at my place in 7 years time. :icon_roll

News just wont stop comming. This is realy sad. I feel sorry. I suspect some people that write around here are from London or nearby. Radar dude? Brit pilot?

I just hope they got away. Good thing authorities are containing information of casualties. That way the terrorist thugs wont get any of the protagonism they seeked. :(

Thugs aint the right word for these lowlife, Pilotasso, but expressing my true feelings in here would get me banned, Im just glad the bombs were not that heavy, looks like homemade non c4.

I'm trying to contact my family over there, but the cellphones have been blocked for "normal"users.....

:D

180 dead you call that not heavy...........

Well now they'll have SAS on their ass, and SEALS are just kids compared to those guys.

I feel wery sorry about UK, they didn't deserv this as the most open country in the world.

Cell phones are down but I suspect for the reason to cause any eventual terrorists still UK to be discoordinated from each other. I hope they are busted and rott in jail for life.

If the 180 dead number is true then its infact a light toll considering the overall dimension and the places involved. In a rush hour there could be tens of thousands of victims.

UK has prevented several strikes before, as well as other places. This is partilay the reason why this attack wanst bigger, because there were lots of eyes watching.

BTW one of the attacks prevented was to be here in OPORTO during the celebration banquet for the opening of euro 2004. They planned to blow up the hotel where several international VIP's were getting ready to stay the night there. Fortunatly there was an alert and covertly the police busted like 12 people. We only got to know this many moths later. Just shows no one is safe and if anyone thinks to give the luxury to relax in this war to terrorism, is seldom mistaken.

Also to prevent detonation by mobile phone signals as was used in Madrid.

as of 1700 gmt it is confirmed as 33 dead 180 injured with 120 being released from hospital, ok not as bad as 180 dead but still bad enough, it will probably also rise higher than 33 :(

I say nuke middle east and start again :icon_evil

Brit_Radar_Dude here, alive and kicking. As best I remember, BritGliderPilot lives further North, but I'm sure he'll let us know.

Thanks for your kind support including old bud's like KILSEK, Pilotasso.....

Latest casualty estimates over here are 33 confirmed in the Underground from 3 bombs, but expected to rise - a bus was hit an hour later by a 4th bomb.

I live a little bit outside London, but sirens have been going all day, I assume emergency vehicles from my area going into London to help out, my town has one of the best hospitals around so doubtless they have been helping out too....

33 dead so far with many more injured. The mobile phone networks are having a heavy time with friends, families trying to contact each other in the wake of todays events.

I'm from just outside London myself. Thanks to all those here from other countries who have posted their support.

Guys,

I can understand that you are all upset about these recent world events :icon_frow , but I am going to lock this thread because I can foresee where it is going.

Statements like "nuke the middle east" are just not acceptable on this forum.
