Startup + Grnd Power... How should the procedure differ?

What are recommendations to altar startup method?

Is it simply to be expected that the egi is available to to me earlier?

--Also...and probably more importantly--How can I avoid being yelled at upon taxiing?

Looking to avoid the --"Hey, What're you doing?!" --Turning off the grnd power subsequent to receiving permission to taxi seems of no use.

Many thanks as usual for the help!

Once the bug in the electrical system is fixed, you will be able to align the EGI with the APU as power source, so no need for ground power.

The thing with taxiing is, i think you have to sucessfully request clearance for taxi.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

I tend to just fire up the CDU, EGI, CICU, and IFFCC as soon as my left generator comes online and it alows me to shave some time off my startup and not have to mess with ground power.

I didn't realize that not being able to start these systems with APU power was a bug. I now too look forward to the day when this is fixed, if I can get in the air that much quicker and easier I won't complain.

I always get yelled at, even after requesting and receiving acknowledgment of ground power disconnect and clearance to taxi. Maybe I'm doing something else wrong, but have read elsewhere this may be a bug, although of course a minor one, as well.

I also get yelled at when taxiing. I think it probably is a bug.

Ground power should not be used as part of the start up procedures but can be useful when repairing and you keep all the systems online when powering down the engines:)

I also never realised it was a bug that stopped IFCCC and CICU being started earlier than having a generator running:thumbup:

Apparently and I have not tried this for myself. If you use the intercom facility (find it yourself:P) then the crew chief no longer shouts at you;)

They're yelling at me too but I don't think it's because of the bug.

I accidentally ran over one of them few days ago.

Nice one :)
