Could someone please tell me what changed in the rampstart procedure that my instruments are not aligned and I can't turn the EAC on ?

it was perfect with 1107 and now that I patched, it doesn't work at all.

I tried to take a "start from runaway" then EAC is ok and instruments aligned, so I turn everything OFF and redo the startup sequence and still have problem:

ADI doesnt move

HUB shows direction 000 and doesn't turn

EAC can't be turned on

Any help appreciated!

Yes, noticed that change in the Features portion of the release notes:

" - HARS navigation is defaulting to active at ramp start. With the HARS mode active, you will not get any FPM/VVI in the HUD, and you will not be able to arm the EAC. If you switch from HARS mode to EGI mode after complete INS Alignment, then the FPM/VVI returns, and you can arm the EAC. "

The A-10C has various means to navigate to mission locations that include ADF homing UHF/FM,

TACAN (Tactical Air Navigation) stations, Inertial Navigation System (INS) steerpoints and

Instrumented Landing System (ILS). To select between these different navigation inputs, you will use

the Navigation Mode Select panel. These data inputs will in turn drive data being displayed on the ADI, HSI, and HUD.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.
