ENO Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Firehouse Server- running alternately between 1.1.1.1 and 1.2.2 7570. (We run some Dragon Training missions to get our tanker / JTAC practice in) Doors are open. TS3 (SimHQ) Preferred. Running 24/7 unless it's crashed. NO tolerance for unsportsmanlike conduct- so come on in but play nice or be banned. A lot easier to make a mistake and explain yourself on TS3 than try to type it out before an admin uses slmod to ban you. See you there. Bandit. Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 As some of you might have noticed s77th got a dedicated server a while ago And we are still interested in participating in this initiative.
Jetkar Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 We are interested in participating. We started our dedicated server in October which is now fairly stable running 24/7 open to general public during the week and closed on one of the weekends for members of 22rd CAS only. Merlin-27 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Hey guys, I have to first say that I did not read the entire thread but I'm wondering if this is intended to be for all interested servers on the master list or just A-10/FC servers. I think a collaboration amongst the admins is a very smart idea. My P-51D combat server has been up since June of 2013 and for all intents and purposes is FT. I'm also running a full-time TS3 server. Both are open to whomever wants to fly aside from some squad training sessions here and there. xcom Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 To All Server administrators, we ran a large mission today with the new version 1.2.7.23803, all clients set the connection to 1024, mission ran flawlessly for almost 2 hours. Also, DCS Israel has been running since Saturday with no crashes! About 7 mission rotation, each mission around 3-4 hours. I hope the latest patch fixed the big issues we had with the multiplayer, it seems much much better! Pman Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 yup seems to be better on the VA server as well, only one crash since the patch :)
FLANKERATOR Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 ...we ran a large mission today ... Encouraging. Large means how many players connected at the same time, roughly? Situational Awareness: https://sa-sim.com/ | The Air Combat Dojo: https://discord.gg/Rz77eFj
xcom Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Around 25 players with more than 300 units in a mission with many triggers and scripts. That kind of mission would usualy crash after 20-40 minutes. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] BuddySpike Website | Live Map & Statistics BuddySpike Twitch Channel Buddyspike Discord Buddyspike Facebook
ENO Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I think the biggest hiccup now is issues between DCS code development and existing scripts from a couple versions ago- so that remains a challenge. xcom Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 which scripts? My custom scripts work as they should... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] BuddySpike Website | Live Map & Statistics BuddySpike Twitch Channel Buddyspike Discord Buddyspike Facebook
ENO Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Uh- basically just scripts that are impacted by subtle changes in DCS structure. I'm not saying any in particular but in the past development has caused some to stop working as they should. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret.
