Dodgeza
So I've got my lovely TM Warthog all set up and ready to go, its solid and rugged feeling... also... its freezing bloody cold, and its winter! This got me to thinking, do they have heated Joysticks in the Aircraft? Because man this things is not awesome in winter, especially where I live where winter sucks due to lack of planning :-) Random yes, but I'd like to know. ivanwfr
:rolleyes:Don't do that! Piloting a flying couch with a women's hair band to hold your TrackIR is nearly too much. Adding gloves and a uniform would be over the top unless you can lock the door so that no one can see the picture ;)

LawnDart
This got me to thinking, do they have heated Joysticks in the Aircraft? Nomex flight gloves as mentioned (and linked) are great. I've also used deerskin ones and they are pricey, but great. Furthermore, the real aircraft does not have a metal stick... (Shocking, I know... but very few aircraft do actually). :D [sigpic]http://www.virtualthunderbirds.com/Signatures/sig_LD.jpg[/sigpic] Virtual Thunderbirds, LLC | Sponsored by Thrustmaster Corsair 750D Case | Corsair RM850i PSU | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X CODE | 32GB Corsair DDR4 3200 | Intel i7-8086K | Corsair Hydro H100i v2 Cooler | EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW | Oculus Rift | X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty | Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB NVMe | Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB | WD Caviar Black 2 x 1TB | TM HOTAS Warthog | TM Pendular Rudder | TM MFD Cougar Pack | 40" LG 1080p LED | Win10 |

Furthermore, the real aircraft does not have a metal stick... Deadman
The real F-16 C model grip is cast from AMS-4218-t6 aluminum witch is the daddy of the A-10C grip, but Paul K would be the one to ask if it is aluminum or not. The B8 A-10A grip was molded from rugged cellulose acetate butyrate engineered polymer. http://www.guardian-electric.com/F-16ControlGrip.htm Edited June 16, 2011 by Deadman https://www.shapeways.com/shops/a-10c-warthog-supplies https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
