When I'm flying for nothing, I'd like to have mirrors (or not)!

And don't no why I have to decide if mirrors is needed before missions.

I was wondering if I could click on a mirror to turn it on/off.

Let's fly together for the sake of peace :)

Didn't think there was.

Are you mixing this up with a "Snap View" of the mirrors for which there is a separate Left and Right view brought up on pressing Right Windows N and M respectively?

Uh... no? Mirrors are mounted permanently. With screws. Most Pilots aren't taking srewdrivers with them on a flight and they mostly dont have the time to make a break on the side of the air way to disassemble a mirror. So, no, it'ld be really unrealistic. Beside that, I still dont understand why you would do that? Reducing your SA?

There's no "Overkill". There's only "open fire!" and "time to reload".

mirrors in aircraft are same mount as those in cars.. you can adjust them and turn them out so you don't see them (reflection in them), looking same as if you turn mirrors off in game

Who told you this? Like Kuky said they can be adjusted. Not all pilots are built the same (height, weight etc...) Just like the seats are adjustable too, the pedals even move.

Ah - you want to have movable mirrors? I understood you'ld want to click on them to make them disappear etc...

Pilots really don't adjust the mirrors - the seat adjusts because you can't see the HUD properly if you're too high, too low, too close, or too far. So if your head is in the right place to see the HUD, the mirrors are going to then be in the right place respective to your head.

Yeah, but I haven't noticed IRL mirrors eating up frame rates ;)

Mirrors are quite big performance hog.

Ejection up to 600 knots, not bad. All they need to do now is make an F-35 work.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

Can't speak for all pilots but most when I launch them out adjust the mirrors slightly....

Frostiken, have you ever sat in a fighter/bomber jet with mirrors?

EDIT: Some really don't have a clue what they are doing, the stories I have lol.
