bmbpdk Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Hi, ive tried searching for the subject but could´n find any. I see that the guncam function now can be used (the switches can be moved), but where does it save the video files? thanks Inno3d RTX 2070 Twin X2, ASUS STRIX Z270E Gaming, Intel i7 7700K, 32GB Corsair vengeance, Kingston Hyper X FPS Alloy Cherry MX Red, Logitech G102 Prodigy, Track Ir 5, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder pedals, Beyer Dynamic DT770, Acer CB280HK 4K monitor, Win 10 Pro 64bit
Eddie Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 It doesn't. The switches can be manipulated, but the system is not modelled.
bmbpdk Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 damn, that was a fast reply :-D thanks, waiting eagerly for it :-D Inno3d RTX 2070 Twin X2, ASUS STRIX Z270E Gaming, Intel i7 7700K, 32GB Corsair vengeance, Kingston Hyper X FPS Alloy Cherry MX Red, Logitech G102 Prodigy, Track Ir 5, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder pedals, Beyer Dynamic DT770, Acer CB280HK 4K monitor, Win 10 Pro 64bit
cichlidfan Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 damn, that was a fast reply :-D thanks, waiting eagerly for it :-D I do not believe that there is any plan to actually have to camera produce a recorded file. The track provides the same data (in theory). Soul Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 I dont think cichlidfan was giving a definitive answer, and I doubt anyone has it or if they did that they could post it. Hitting Alt+F1 gives you a basic visual of what a gun cam would look like anyways.
Nate--IRL-- Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 How do you know it's not planned to be modelled? It is cosmetic only. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
cichlidfan Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 (edited) How do you know it's not planned to be modelled? Because it has been discussed before and the direction of those discussions has indicated that it would be unlikely. Note this is still just my interpretation of what others have said.:smilewink: EDIT: There theoretically should be TGP tapes as well but those would be redundant also. Snoopy Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Just to piggyback on what has been said above. you can easily save a track and use said track to make what looks like HUD, TGP, or MAV video...I've done it in a few of my videos... v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website
BladeLWS Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Would be nice if it did record a gun cam when you hit the first trigger, we could post our gun cams and score each other.
winz Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 The only problem with that is, that most system would came to crawl the moment you pressed the trigger. Saving video in high resolution realtime is not something most systems are capable of (because of hdd speed). The Valley A-10C Version Revanche for FC 3
