It's time for a Su-30 and F-16 new models by ED. Meantime I am glad to use a model mod by the community.

What you could do is offer the models and paint schemes to ED as free add-ons and if they like them they could add them into a new patch or the 2.5 merger

Su-30s are very classified(any variant), I dont know if you guys misunderstood me but I was talking about adding my model as its and make Su-30 playable.

 

Also, if possible, my mod will have both Su-30SM and Su-30 MKI in the same model.

We have an entire squadron that has stoped flying since 1.2, they are alle waiting for this baby to comeback

Hey Combatace, i understood what you meant and think you should add it however you see fit, its your mod and its nice that you are generous enough to share it with the community. Your previous mod was awesome. I wish I could help, but unfortunately i don't have the expertise :( There got to be someone in this talented community that can help. Anyone?

What I meant with my last post, was that I seem to remember that you also did an Su-30M2 and since this variant doesn't have canards or TVC, you can get it to work properly with the stock Su-30 slot made flyable.

 

Whereas with a combined Su-30MKI/Su-30SM both have features(canards and TVC) that won't, so IMHO it would be better with a combination of Su-30M2/Su-30MKI, just as it would provide bigger diversity(Su-30MKI and Su-30SM are very similar).

You are right but there are lots of folks here who want canard version too. So by just placing the numbers and skins right you can have any version you like to fly.

Yes mate I understand what you plan to do :) - i.e. place more than one aircaft(or parts of them) in one max scene and then, with arg based visibility, show/hide them under the argument number for paint scheme selection in the game. So that changing a paint scheme in the in-game editor will also change the appearance of the aircraft - e.g. from Su-30M2 to Su-30MKI.

 

But I think I misinterpreted what you said earlier...

....as if you intended to include only those two versions, in which case it would be better(in my opinion) to choose a combination of the Su-30M2 and Su-30MKI for the reasons I mentioned earlier :) .

I have a life too!! loool so it is taking me a bit of time and i also work on other skins for other planes

 

And yes it is flyable , the mod is available in the download section but with the old skins

 

personally i made it replace the Su-33 to have the refueling boom working,but it is just my choice

 

PS: im working ont the Blue SM now
