I'm not 100% sure if this is posted in the right place, sorry if it's not.

I currently use an X-52 and I'm looking to upgrade. However, I'm wondering if the Warthog is much better than the G940? I could afford the Warthog, however, if I buy it I won't be able to buy pedals for another 4/6 weeks and since the G940 is around £60 cheaper than the Warthog and it comes with pedals this makes me unsure on which one to get. I've seen there are problems with the G940, and I was wondering if there are any problems using it with DCS A-10C? Thanks

Hi.

A-10C: Warthog.

Ka-50: G940.

Not debatable. What more do you fly?

Hi, I play FSX and Free Falcon, I have only started playing DCS: A-10C recently and plan on playing it A LOT until I master it. It was my uncle, who is actually a heli pilot in the Royal Navy, that suggested I try DCS: A-10C so I would like anything that will aid me in mastering it to try and impress my uncle (lol). Thanks for your reply!

IMHO the TM WH is the best option for DCS: A-10C.. I bought one eight months ago..the precision of the stick is amazing!..

A good review of some HOTAS systems:

And why is this?

What's wrong with the WH in the Ka-50?

Hello.

If you fly in BS (trimmer), or IL2, or RoF, or CoD, (FSX, depends on aircraft), the G940 is the best option for the feedback of the FFB.

The feedback improved more than any perceived improvement in precision.

For A-10, LockOn2, Falcon, and reactors in general, Warthog, no doubt.

If the Warthog had FFB, it would be just the perfect joy.

I must disagree with this.

...and he let me fly on it once...

Is it only once?

Ok. I respect your opinion.

In my case, I appreciate much more, a realistic use of the trimmer in helos. And that's what I recommend.

"cough" CH "cough" stick, throttle and pedals will cost you about $300, leaving $200 to buy something else. Plus with CH you won't have to worry about it not working. But if I had to choose between the 2 you said, I'd take the warthog.

In the UK CH pedals + throttle + stick will cost me ~£350, where as the TM Warthog + CH Pedals will cost me ~£400. Worth the £50 extra, imo. Thanks for the replies and help, guys!

While Ill agree on all front that the TM is a better product from a superiour company I gota be honest and say that the g940 has been really cool in BS and I like it. I have not had it flake out on me yet. I did take the time to study the threads here and get it set up against a few working recommendations. It really has been great. ???

Logitech G940 for cyber pilots

Warthog for hardcore virtual pilots

:P i have full logitech game set

¿? :noexpression:

That lack of respect. And the X52 users? What are they? What about the joys of low cost? I do not understand.

Ok. Each one chooses. What a joy savings with trimmer realistic, and pedals, I dedicate this:

And for BS, not change it for any Warthog.
