topol-m
If you have to compare the models of F-16, F/A-18C and F-15E in the game which one of them is of highest quality? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ALDEGA
Definitely the F-15E model. The F-16 and F/A-18C have old models. F/A-18C was probably the best model in Lockon/LOMAC though.
hawk2495
I haven't used the beta, but the F-15C/E models are really detailed in the current versions ... Like I said in my post, a lot of work for a "secondary" aircraft. Why is the rum always gone!?!?!?!
Blaze
Have you ever thought that ED is just slowly updating their models a little at a time, as part of an eventual overhaul of all the models in-game to bring them up-to-date and out of the Flanker 2.5 era? We may get the Strike Eagle as the next jet, but they also added a new E-2D model, and so on and so on. Just because a model is updated doesn't mean it's the next module. Nice thoughts though. ;) i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Wichid
But a Tilt-Wing and these count in the category of Fixed Wings. Interesting. But no one except Iran still use these so I've heavily discounted the chances of the next aircraft being the tomcat. If its a carrier based plane I'd guess the F-18. Personally I'd like a two seater though! I mean, ask any hill billy aviation enthusiast that has this aircraft in his garage hobby collection. :) Nice plane on that gun... joey45
It's a red herring. It all is, I bet it's not a US fixed fighter. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Avilator
But a Tilt-Wing and these count in the category of Fixed Wings. The F-14 is not a tilt-wing aircraft. These, on the other hand, are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiltwing I only respond to that little mechanical voice that says "Terrain! Terrain! Pull Up! Pull Up!" JG2_Miller
The F-14 is not a tilt-wing aircraft. These, on the other hand, are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiltwing I meant Sweep Wing. These count in the category of Fixed Wings. I just translated it from the german word "Schwenkflügler" which would be tilt wing and "Schwenkflügler" perfectly applies for the F-14. Now I did some research and Wikipedia told me the right english word :music_whistling:

mhe
Not this again... haven't we all agreed that it's going to be a F-18C due to ED already having registered the domain F-18c.com? For the people who don't know how to handle a WHOIS client: Domain name: F-18C.COM Creation Date: 2011.03.21 Updated Date: 2011.03.30 Expiration Date: 2012.03.21 Status: NOT DELEGATED Registrant ID: 3SAULC7-RU Registrant Name: Joint Stock Company "Eagle Dynamics" Registrant Organization: Joint Stock Company "Eagle Dynamics" Registrant Street1: 3, Avangardnaya str. mhe
Well, if you put it that way, I think I have lots of bad news for you... :D Didn't mean to rain on anybodies parade, but these speculations actually lead nowhere (apart from a forum full with gossip and speculations, making it harder to find stuff over time). I was kinda wondering when somebody was going to suggest that ED will make an ATC sim because a patchlog featured a nicer model for the tower. ;) | i9 12900K | 64GB DDR5-6000 | STRIX RTX 4090 OC | LG 38GN950 38" | | Hanns-G HT225HPB | TIR 5 & Varjo Aero | Virpil Throttle & Stick | TM TPRs | You don't stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing. Jona33
F-35 makes the most sense to me. In one jet you get so much sim. You get: 1- The V/STOL replacement for the Harrier, (Brits AND Marine Corps -oh and the Spanish and Italians too), which from what I've seen, a ten year old could hover. OK this is pedantic but... We changed our order ages ago to the C model. More importantly I think that the F-35 is too secret. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
