Hm... I have a same issue but with all other MLRS units. Sometime didn't fire at their target accurately.

 

I tried it and it seems the issue isn't at Scud side. it should be a general MLRS issue.

 

Could you check the attached mission? Every time when I set target an MLRS for example M260 their miss the target.

I check and yes they are missing (overshooting 3km) but 3km it's not big deal for me, for me it would be what scud do. Can you tell me what numbers i have to change in scud.lua so maybe we will get better results?

Well the M260 is overshooting ~3km at 10km range. It's ~30%. I set the scud maximum range is to 300km. So on 300km the error could be at 30km... The missile efficiency doesn't belong the launcher. Only the nurs_table.lua contain the Uragan(Scud) missile settings. I tried it but no luck.

Not exactly, 60km was on 120km range with scud. What was on the LockOn2 was much better (was miss about 15km to 20km on what ever range you put). I will see what was differences between Lock on2 nurs_table.lua and A10c/BS2.

I've tried some experiments with the Scud, Smerch, Grad and M270 MLRS, I started with no wind and gradually worked up to 25 m/s wind @ sea level, 25 m/s @ 2000M and 25m/s @8000M. All through the trials the only consistent was the M-270 MLRS and Scud that always over shot the target. The Grad and Smerch did ok. Don't know if thats any help to you Beczl

Overshoot the target??? I got hits of the SCUD on the half way to the target. That is problem I launched on the target 23km he drop it on 11km. Launched on the target at 150km he drop at 70km. It is all time miss by half. So if you want some thing to be hit you need to put target zone in double distance from target area.

Nope. At the moment I working another mod that has a higher priority. Basically the ADS is almost completed only a few small elements are missing. Only need to create a texture than some UVW map to-do and that's all I guess.

Can you do a little update on your "old" rockets pods ?

You know - the sizes of the pods are large a bit.

Maybe the easiest way should be to add Arg # 3 for the whole model and using ArgScaleNode

I know the thread is old. But is there a chance, that we see those vehicle pack implemented in DCS - not as a mod? Maybe, as a separate module or in a patch for DCS world?

I got the same request for two vehicles:

- the new 1S91 Straight Flash radar and 2P25 Kub TEL, fully animated

- 8k14 Scud-B launcher, fully animated

These outstanding vehicles are missing since we have DCSW. We understand, that you're busy with the MiG-23bis, but maybe there is a 'time' to convert the vehicles or the package Combined Forces Mod for DCSW?

No any chance to these mods will available with basic DCSW.

 

Since DCSW 1.2.1 these models, textures also is outdated. I already updated them also created a new additional models that perfectly fit for DCSW 1.2.4/1.2.5 but I don't want to publish it due I received many negative feedbacks in relation with my ground units.

This is bad news for the community.

Your vehicle mods are authentic in every way, and to be frank, they are the best! About negative comments I guess they might had trouble to install the files in the right folders. It's very sad to hear that. For years you've created one of the finest mods for FC2 and DCS.

What about the idea to offer parts or the complete pack of the Combined Forces Mod for a reasonable price?

Think twice...
