reactorone
I think I will not use my cockpit, I will bequeath to the Air Museum at Le Bourget in France. :smartass: Seriously, I will now work on the external lighting, the lamps that illuminate the cockpit sides. Thank you for your comment. R1
reactorone
Tonight, installation of lighting inside the upper flanks. Everything is again connected to a dimmer, really great! In the photos have the impression that the lighting is "powerful", but in reality it is very soft. So much for tonight ... R1

rocketeer
Wow, looks fantastic! Are you using led strips? Are you you connecting it to the dimmer? Any resistors required? My A10C cockpit thread

You can cut the strip of led all three LEDs, and connect later. this is what I do for my lighting. Nine led, in groups of three and are spaced approximately 250mm. I've put a pdf for the explanation of the connection, if it can help. R1Led_ex.pdf

Deadman
Yes it is O Ride look in the real A-10A manual page 1-151 ARMAMENT GROUND SAFETY OVERRIDE SWITCH The armament ground safety override switch (22, figure FO-2), is a guarded two-position switch, placarded ARM GND SAFETY with positions SAFE and ORIDE. The ORIDE position overrides the ground safety circuit for maintenance purposes. The ground safety circuit, activated by the DOWN position of the landing gear handle, prevents normal release or arming of ordnance and gun firing circuits. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/a-10c-warthog-supplies https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans. reactorone
Hi, I started to install the knobs on the potentiometers, encoders, etc... The buttons are from F16, I had to make some modifications and compromises, but it pleases me well. Sorry for the picture quality. R1

reactorone
Hi, R1 What material did you use for the cover? (The black on top and sides) Hi Swaty, I used PVC (Forex) 3mm, I have given shape with a heat gun. This material is not plexi is a PVC opaque. I found this link which explains the English terms: http://www.signtekindia.com/signtek/ProductDetail.aspx?productId=24 R1

mr_mojo97
Man that looks well cool. Wish I had the time/ patience to do something like that. Mine looks positively crap compared to that. Actually I'll post some pics of mine soon. It' s nice and basic with just panels with switches in kind of the right positions although I'm having problems with switches the CubPilot is helping me with MSI M5 z270 | Intel i5 7600k (OC) 4.8GHz | MSI GTX1080ti Gaming X 11Gb | 500gb Samsung 970 Evo NVME M.2 (DCS World) | 500gb Samsung 850 Evo SSD (OS and Apps) | 32Gb 2400MHz DDR4 - Crucial Ballistix | Be Quiet Silent Loop 240mm | NZXT H440 case | Thrustmaster Warthog - 47608 with Virpil Mongoose joystick base | MFG Crosswinds - 1241 | Westland Lynx collective with Bodnar X board | Pilot's seat from ZH832 Merlin | JetSeat | Oculus Rift S | Windows 10 | VA |

reactorone
Hi, Small step on my simpit panels with "Arm Ground Safety" and "Anti-G valve following test." MemphisBelle
This is really jawdropping...:shocking: wish I would have the time and the possibilities to do such a thing as well, whereas I would ask my self...what happens when the next Jet will be released?
