E61-v1T1 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I've cleaned several times the user's folder, I've done other screenshots of the error. It seems that only changes the number of Thread, but otherwise remains the same. Here is another log after deleting the Users folder and having reproduced the same error. Sorry guys, but I do not see what else I can do, knowing that the same problem is reproduced on other users with or without SSD, and it only happens with the CA. I hope you can find a solution soon. Thanks for your help and work. Esac_mirmidon Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 (edited) i had the same problem and for me the solution was installing DCS World and all the modules without changing the default folder. iamlooser Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 ok, its not about SSD, its about DCS folder in saved games. just delete it, and it will run just fine.
Milene Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 ok, its not about SSD, its about DCS folder in saved games. just delete it, and it will run just fine. Deleted it and my game still crashes Flanker, Flanker 2.0, Flanker 2.5, Lockon, FC1, FC2,FC3, BS1, BS2, A10C, CA and World [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
iamlooser Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 What ive done, uninstalled whole DCS, deleted DCS save folder, reinstalled in other directory (still on SSD), launches fine.
Milene Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 Ok just uninstalled everything reinstalled DCS world same drive and same folder as before then reinstalled DCS CA and now it works. Wich leaves me to believe there is a conflict with either DCS BS2 or DCS A10C in combination with DCS CA... Reinstalling BS and A10 now brb Flanker, Flanker 2.0, Flanker 2.5, Lockon, FC1, FC2,FC3, BS1, BS2, A10C, CA and World [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Milene Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 DCS A10 installed and works fine so last one now BS2 Flanker, Flanker 2.0, Flanker 2.5, Lockon, FC1, FC2,FC3, BS1, BS2, A10C, CA and World [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Milene Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 And installed BS2 last and everything works. No idea what the problem is but this is weird. Flanker, Flanker 2.0, Flanker 2.5, Lockon, FC1, FC2,FC3, BS1, BS2, A10C, CA and World [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
JaBoG32_Herby Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I deleted the saved games/DCS folder and installed into the default folder with the result, that DCS:World and CA were running nicely. Installing into a different than the default installationpath recreates the mentioned issue. Regards Herby [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
E61-v1T1 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 i had the same problem and for me the solution was installing DCS World and all the modules without changing the default folder. It worked for me, but I had to find another solution to run the simulator from my SSD because my system is in a HDD. -Installed DCS World to different folder than earlier And Worked for me too!!, so finally i can use my SSD  My final route has been (SSD) D:\World\DCS World...with all modules, zero problem. Uff, goodness! KaspeR32 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I have the same problem. I'm on a laptop currently, no SSD, no raid. Going to try to delete saved games and try again. Will post with results. KaspeR32 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I tried just deleting my saved games folder and running the game but that didn't work. So I had to uninstall DCS: World, delete saved games folder, then re-install it. I happened to use a different directory than the original install but I'm not sure if that part is required or not. Either way, game works now. HiJack Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 (edited) I had that problem as well! I installed to the SSD first time "C:\DCS World", did not work at all. After reading that installing to a normal disk would solve the problem I did that and it worked "D:\DCSWorld120". After testing I copied the complete folder to my SSD drive making the path "C:\DCSWorld120" and that still worked great. Then renaming the "D:\DCSWorld120" to "D:\moved_DCSWorld120", keeping it as a backup. There must be some error in the install file for the Combined Arms add-on. (HJ) Edited July 10, 2012 by HiJack

Panzertard Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Sorry, I'm almost out of suggestions Mastiff. - Did you remove all the previous products which could cause this conflict? - Perhaps you could clean out the registry (will reset all SF keys): HKCU\Software\Eagle Dynamics.
