Game minimizes on the first mouse click

After the game loads, I am unable to click anything. The mouse cursor is a yellow cross no matter where I point. When I click, the game minimizes (only happens on first mouse-click). After I maximize the screen everything works fine, I can toggle switches, push buttons, etc.

 

I am running 1.2

This is with "Aero Disable = On" option?

Perhaps the workaround was to uncheck the "Aero Disable"?

Tried it with aero disable = on and off. Bug still persists.

The only solution is to ALT-TAB upon entering the cockpit and ALT-TAB back in again - you will good for the rest of that flight.

Im having the same issue and whats even more annoying is that when i alt tab back in the game to make the mousepointer work the colors auto switch from normal to cold for some reason

Oh yeah,... that Alt-TAB to HDR COLD baby is with us from like 3-4 patch versions ago... :smilewink:

I only experience +/- the same when i try to get out of a mission. I hit ESC and then i'm unable to do anything anymore, can't quit the game, besides ALT-TABbing to bring at back alive. Cursor is always a yellow cross. Didn't had the problem on loading the game yet.

Bug only seems to affect singleplayer...

I am having the same problem. My cursor changes from the yellow cross to the normal arrow when I go outside the actual cockpit solid areas i.e. the windscreen glass. Clicking then minimises the program. Maximising it again cures the problem., but this is a definite bug. The same applies to A10, BS & P51. I hope it will be fixed in the next update,as I uninstalled & reinstalled everything thinking it was something I had done wrong along the way.:mad:

Me too. I just alt-tab out and back in during the "briefing pause" bit and it's not a problem, but it makes the whole program feel "fragile" and it's really disconcerting.

It has not been fixed in the last patch! It is so annoying. I could live with it, but when I do alt-tab textures become black or start flickering in TGP view. Any advice devs?
