This is so widespread... C'mon... 8 members of the 9th ALL had this problem.. ED must know about this.. Do me a favour and open world 1.2.0 and try it for yourself as well. If you insist.. Does however not negate the need for logs, additional info etc etc. If there are logs, post them. If not, state that there are none. One can never have too much information when investigating issues. I did check my logs after the incident but nothing there, only the Windows app log complaining about DXRenderer.dll & MSVCR100.dll crashing and that was that. But anyway MP works now, so maybe this is just a case of DCSW not handling master servers gone AWOL cleanly? The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

A simple "Is known, etcetc" or something of that nature would be nice though. Due to the fact I was busy actually flying, and just posting I (and Sqn members (that is all of them)) had this problem to indicate the OP wasn't the only one but broadly spread.. Client was initially set to LAN and screen came up ok, the instant I changed it to Internet, it died. (appcrash, the msvcr100.dll etc) will dig the log files out... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

I just fixed this issue by going into my saved games folder and renaming the 2 files under the config folder for DCS World. I had to reenter my username and password in multiplayer DCS and it was fixed. network.cfg & network.vault - rename them to .BAK or something and it should work fine again.
