Depends if the cockpit has been modified to support NV use.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

It should not be too hard to add at some point should it?

In the meantime, here's a shameless 4-year old post/thread necro dealing with the exact same thing:

Well I was thinking specifically in the f-15 eagle, because he has received a new 6dof

cockpit, and I've thought that it would be strange they had made it without night vision compability already hence the question.

ahhh I really wish! there is a night vision mod I used to have installed but since in the f-15 campaign there was only 1 night mission it wasn't so bad, the f-15c must have something for night, otherwise it must have been rough to flight on this mission.

The VNAO Stallturn server for FC2, one of the unlocked missions is up all day, sometimes for several days. I was taking my BS 1.0.2 to fly it in the Stallturn server without adding the carrier mod check'um. This mission will go into night time just because the mission clock is 24 hours and the server is up 24 hours, thus night time fly-ability and quite fun via the NVG. Though for me I usually am the only helicopter flying. I guess still no solution if FC2 or FC3 has no NVG capability.

Now with FC3 I suppose this will change the server setup and I am not interested in FC2 or FC3 but prefer DCS.

I think the modders will be able to tackle the issue :)

Try re-doing the cockpit...

Will the F-15 or A10A for example have the same NVG device that the A10C? It

should not be too hard to add at some point should it?

I was flying the Su-33 in FC2 multiplayer last night. I am not up much on the key commands so I refer to a spreadsheet download I found in forums that I printed out. It lists all the keyboard commands for all the FC2 planes. The only aircraft listed that uses NVG using FLIR/LLTV is the Su-25T. I don't fly it, so I do not know with actual experience using it. World includes the Su-25T beta. Maybe they retained this feature in FC3?

What I read awhile ago, FC3 was to be FC2 for use in World. I guess they improved it some?

Seems to me some guys spend all day on the forums and are up to date on everything. I usually come by only to read and ask or state something stupid in search of an answer to an issue I am having, then read a little bit on the newer posts.
