Thor, are you aware of Ricardo's Blue Pit? Becasue, there're better aging scratches on it too.

 

Please let me understand better; You want me to do "blue" aging scratches on "black" panels (because of that this thread is Black Cockpit mod), or you want me to do a blue cockpit with heavily aging marks?

I think good. However outdated. You make new effects exceeding textures. IF you do the blue cockpit. It will turn out better. Is it possible to do? You can do in FullHD or 4k? :D

I don't want you to be disappointed, but (actually and honestly) my materials, my talent and Photoshop techniques are very limited comparing to Ricardo. :)

 

1st; I'm not able to make it for 4K. Actually I would not bother to work on it, because if even this can be made, it would not suitable for most of players due to VRAM size.

 

2nd; I'm thinking that I shouldn't work on Ricardo's BluePit textures even if I get permission from Ric. Because it's too good work to work on it again.

 

3rd; Maybe I could add scratches my Blue Pit, but I'm not sure about this. Best Blue Pit has been already done - that's my thought.

this mod work with JSGME ?

Doesn't work, because this mod doesn't include all cockpit files.

If I upload new files with other files, mod size would be too big, and I think this is unnecessary.

 

So, it's more practical just uploading only edited files. Please read the instruction carefully and just move the DDS files (from mod zip) into addressed (Ka-50 cockpit) zip file.

Black one. Honestly I stopped working on blue one, especially after Ricardo's work.

 

Edit: This mod has been uploaded, probably will be released after moderator check.

Thanks mate. I installed it and fired up the rift. I probably should have run it before installing as a comparison, I was too eager! I THINK its slightly more readable in the rift, certainly the power panel on the right seems easier to read. I still struggle with a lot of the low down, tiny little switches but I think its helped.

 

I have really neglected Black Shark. Once I have my new rig built and a decent monitor, I am going to work through the tutorials and learn the chopper properly. The tutorials are just unworkable in the Oculus at the mo, but flying it with it on is just incredible.

you can run any mod with GME you just have to have the right file structure
