Hello,

I am new to Dcs world A10 and to Trackir also. I am using TIR4 with the freshly downloaded last software. I loaded Wags profile in the software and head tracking is working accordingly. But when I launch DCS, TIR is recognized but not working accordingly to profile. It is oversensitive and on the yaw axis I can only move the view toward the left. If I look to the right, the view moves to the left. Only a slight movement and the view turns 360 degrees! When I go back to TIR software wit DCS still running, head movement as shown in the soft is fine and do not match what I am seeing in the game! Also title indicates Blackshark instead of A10???

Is something corrupted with my game? Could someone please help me with that? I will also post on Naturalpoint forum.

Best regards,

Pierre

Also try the update for game library aswel...

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

You need to link the profile that you want to use with Black Shark not DCS A-10. That is the TIR id that is built into DCS World, apparently.

Hi , where can I get the TrackIR profile mentioned ? Cheers

Just use the 'Default' profile in TIR. It is virtually identical and you can adjust from there to your personal taste.

I have made my personal profile, but I'm not sure what every one of sliders/adjustments in the TIR does, so I wanted to try something different.

Thanks for your answers!

How can I be sure that TIR is running as administrator? I always launch it by right clicking "Run as administrator" but is that enough?

And how should I link my profile to Black Shark instead of DCS?

Updating the game library did nothing by the way but thank you to point me to that!

I have not yet updated to 1.2.1 so maybe the update will solve my problem. rthat thing is weird because all seems fine in game setting. I wonder what can cause my yaw axis to be corrupted...

Best regards,

And how should I link my profile to Black Shark instead of DCS?

In the TIR software, select the Titles tab, find Blackshark and click it. Then select the profile you want in the Profile column.

Or you can do what I do. On the Profile tab, load the profile you want and click the Exclusive check box next to it. That will make it the profile used for every title.

EDIT: BTW, updating to 1.2.1 will make no difference because that's not where the issue lies. And, "Run as administrator" is enough, if it turns out that you even need to do that.
