Are those GBU-28s, or what? Normal JDAMs?

Weirdest strike I've seen. The first two munitions make holes and the next two go in the holes and explode.

It may have been BLU-109 (2000 lbs) or BLU-110 (1000 lbs) with a JDAM airfoil group installed.

GBU-31(V)3/B 2000 lbs

GBU-35(V)1/B 1000 lbs

I thought GBU-32 was 1,000lb and I didn't think the Raptor could carry 2,000lb JDAMs.

Nellis 4th Quarter Weapons Load Competition

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Airman 1st Class Ashley Hill and Staff Sgt. Ragina James, 57th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron aircraft armament systems weapons load team members, use a MJ-1 Jammer to load a MK-84 2000-pound bomb on a F-22 Raptor during a weapons load competition on the Nellis flightline Jan. 7. Weapons load competitions are conducted quarterly to keep Airmen sharp and recognize superior performers. Weapons load teams are evaluated for their use of the checklist, safety, and overall speed. Wild theory -

Although I heard it called a residential military compound on the TV, it looks more like a research facility to me (have a good look at that building - not fortified, but out on it's own, with a built up perimeter and a guardhouse on the gate).

The kind of place that might have some underground facilities too (that provided the dirt to raise the whole site up), so maybe the first 2 are going deep into the ground (perhaps with a delay on the fuse), then the next two enter and explode in the surface part of the building.

in which case BLU-109s make perfect sense.

some one please confirm this vid is F-22's JDAMed footage?not other planes like F-16,F-15 or F-18?

They stated the above image of this building with a hole in the middle as an F-22 strike, the video, which appears to be a second strike on the building it isnt stated what hit it.

It appears to be one and the same raid no?

The corner of the building wasn't missing before the F-22 strike or before the bombs in that video hit. That's the way it appears to me anyway???

The GBU-32 is indeed a 1000 lbs bomb but it is a Mk-83 bomb with a JDAM airfoil group. The GBU-35 is also 1000 lbs bomb based on a BLU-110 with a JDAM airfoil group and it is a penetrating bomb.

The F-22 may only be able to carry 1000 lbs bombs. I not certain as I do not work on them. I work on CF-18's

As I said before, USAF does not use 1k lbs class bomb like the MK83, GBU-32 etc. CBU, which are in the 1K lbs category, (ie CBU-87/97/etc.) are commonly used but not MK83 and associated PGM

USAF does not normally use GBU-32 or other 1K lbs weapons and the F-22 is more than capable to carry Mk84 size weapons.

GBU-35 appears to be an old classification.

Many sources are saying the F-22s dropped GBU-32 JDAM. eg.

Ok, if you say so. You posted that there are many sources of this, do you have any .mil or .gov links reporting this strike? I would like to read their articles and have been unable to find any. I have been looking in several AF.mil site and have not find any detail info. ( pictures, news reports, etc.) During the Libyan bombing you could find pictures and reports on but not on this strikes.

There was a clip on BBC that showed a building hit with what I took to be some sort of CBU with multiple impacts and explosions occurring almost simultaneously. Does anyone know what it was?

Is that actually going in the internal bay?
