A10A Bugs

 

Approach AOA Indexer inoperative.

AOA Gauge needle starts at 10 units AOA even stationary on the ground ?

 

ILS system seems totally inoperative. No ILS references in the HUD (maybe new in FC3 as previous FC2 ILS HUD indications were incorrect). ILS deviation bars on ADI and HSI together with raw Localiser and Glideslope needles seem inoperative or appear at full scale deflection.

EDIT1: just tried myself R-27R fired at Rmax (25km) on non-manouvering KC-135 and it fell short, lost most of it energy even some 5km before it should hit the target and started falling out of the sky about 2km ahead of target.

 

Same happened to me, against non-manouvering target, AIM-7, launch right after red lamps lit - launch authorized. 1-2km before reaching target it fall down. Target didn't even climb or turn. Sorry, no track.

Believing does not make it so. Maybe if you had a real source that would be helpful, but all you have is belief in some fairy tale, because you certainly can't judge those missiles on aerodynamic merits.

 

Maximum g is a function of structural integrity ... none of these missiles have any problem achieving 50g aerodynamically.

 

I believe that the aerodynamic on ER and R-77 make them turn tighter.

Update:

 

Item #146 removed. Currently a design limitation prohibiting display of units of AOA.

That's a pretty darn old -34 then ... mine is '88/'89 :) Defintiely the HuDs are different between these eagle variants though.

 

my F15C Dash 34 is a little long in the tooth so doesnt show this G OWS G option. My F15E Dash34 does and it shows a decimal separating the units with G on the end. I accept this is an E not a C though.

I believe that the aerodynamic on ER and R-77 make them turn tighter.

 

Well the R-77 and AIM-120 are both supposed to be able to intercept targets maneuvering at up to 9Gs, while the published maximum target G-load for the R-27 is 8.

Wish you would have kept the things that were fixed in the list viper. That way we could see what was fix for people with a bad memory like me. What was I talking about?

Over the hump fulcrum campaign, any attempt to go into mission planner, load screen freezes, with just the way point info box visible. Only way to get out is through task manager.

I have several bugs to report but one which is quite anoying is a sound bug:

 

I only can hear thrust when directly viewing behind the missile/ plane. Turning view ca 5° it is completly silent.

 

known issue there?

Just a question here Viper. Should we report Su-25t issues here? As I see, there are some in the list. There is a serious bug with the Su-25t gunpods, which creates huge fps hit in MP.

Nothing to address.

 

Your module is not activated/something went amiss with the activation procedure.

 

Reactivate/reinstall and all should be well.

 

Just a question here Viper. Should we report Su-25t issues here? As I see, there are some in the list. There is a serious bug with the Su-25t gunpods, which creates huge fps hit in MP.

Could I have that track please if not too much of a bother? Will save me from redoing it all.

 

We cannot replicate any campaign issues/crashes with the latest builds.

 

Replicated this problem with the Mig-29S campaign "Over the Hump #2".

 

Open mission editor.

Open Mig-29S Over the hump #2 and cannot save a copy of the file due to numerous waypoint erros.

Cannot edit loadout or waypoint for player aircraft.

 

Start Campaign Mission #2 and click Mission Planner and game locks up on the loading screen.

I haven't highlighted it in my post, but this is an MP issue. There is a track in the topic I linked. In SP the gunpods work well AFAIK.

All is well.

 

It's a very wierd bug then because all of the campaign missions cannot be editied in the mission editor. When asked to save the file, it pops up with WP errors. Then only way I could get the file to save is to delete all of the aircraft.

I have no doubt that you are experiencing this in your version. What I am saying is that it is rectified in my version, the version you will be getting when the next update is released. You are just going to have to believe me when I say that it has already been fixed, ie No Bug :)
