We plan to upload all maps and briefings to our stats board soon. Now it's better to use "Esc-briefing-maps pages" instead.

We use closely placed air-fields in the campaign so yes it was decided to drain the fuel and remove weapon in order to decrease hopping. But you can find at least 1 type of each aircraft with a full tank (it's written on the name of the aircraft).

And.. The server is growing and now have 8 missions in the campaign. Some of them in Russian but we'll translate them soon for the blue side.

We implemented Ban system:

 

First violation - 1 week ban.

- Intentional TKs;

- Insulting;

- Accusations of cheating without proof;

- Lie, perjury;

- Deliberate pilfering of units from areas of responsibility;

- Jump to other side in order to exhaust resources;

 

Repeated violation - 1 month.

 

Next repeated violation is up to the administration.

 

Cheats - 1 year.

 

- foul language is not welcome.

 

Report about other cases of violation on the server.

Administrators has rights to ban/unban in special cases.

 

If you have found a violation of the rules:

1. Tell to violator that he brakes the rules on English and Russian (if possible) in the chat of the simulator. For example: Nickname you can be banned for your activity (abuse talk, teamkill, ..). Explain or I'll report to admins.

2. Wait for an answer.

3. Make print-screen of the chat.

4. Write your message here on the forum with the exact nickname.

5. Attach the track (or a link to the track to PM)

6. Attach print-screen of third paragraph. (or a link to the track to PM)

 

If you are accused, and you are innocent - use the point of lying.

 

Peaceful conflict resolution strongly recommended and encouraged.

For the last week or so I've been unable to join this server. I keep receiving the "Connection interrupted" error.

 

I don't think I'm banned because I haven't done anything wrong, so the only thing I can think of is that my ping is an issue. I'm in Australia and I usually ping around 400-500 to the server. I asked my Australian friend to try and join the server as well, but he also received the same error as me despite him never playing there.

 

Is there some sort of automatic ping filter? If so, I understand, but it is disappointing. At the times I play, I often find that WAR is the only populated server with any A2A combat.

Hi Crescendo, you was not ban. Ban list is clean. We shall write here the callsign of banned pilots if any.

We have no ping limitations.

Maybe you have some mods installed into your DCS?

If not then I don't know :( sorry

That's OK, your reply helps a lot. Thanks. As you said, it means the problem is probably on my end. I will investigate.

Just an update: I am now able to join the server normally.

 

The only thing I changed was to disable Tacview recording and then re-enable it. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or not, because if the Tacview was the problem I should still be receiving the "Connection interrupted" error.

 

I don't understand it, but at least I can join. :huh:

Innovations!

 

4 missions -01n, -01r, -02n, +03 have alternative victory conditions.

 

Now you can win these missions as follows:

 

1. Perform basic mission tasks or gain 100% of mission score.

 

2. Destroy enemy aircrafts (player controlled) so that the total loss become more than a "Resource of Aviation", which is about 70 points for each side (+/- 10). Message about current losses and total resources will be visible every 8 minutes. Assault = 3 Points, helicopter = 2 points, fighter = 1 point.

 

-Ex- assume that the resource enemy = 75 points. You destroyed 1 enemy fighter, 2 assaults and 1 helicopter. So this is equal to 1+3*2+2=9 points. If you reach 76 points, you win the mission.

 

3. Destroy enemy forces on the ground (any Ground Units except trucks and infantry) so that the total loss become more than a "resource of ground vehicles", which is about 130 points (depends on each mission + scatter within 15%) for each side. Watch periodic messages every 8 minutes. An air defense or ship = 3 points, tank or anti-aircraft gun = 2 points, a machine of infantry = 1 point.

 

-Ex- You destroyed T90, 2*BMP-2, Stinger, 15*soldiers, 3*Shilka, strela, buk. It's 2+2*1+0+15*0+3*2+3+3 = 13 points.

 

4. Only in -01n. If you destroy a total of 4 warehouses on enemy airfields then you will win the mission.

If the Server kicks you during connection try to change your nickname. In most cases this mean that you nickname already occupied by other pilot.

I really like your mission. I fly Su25 usually which suits very well for these missions. I think that you created the best public CAS mission because it really allows all planes in the air with reasonable tasks.

I would like to ask you for permission to use and fly these missions on our UVP closed events.

Hi Arn ..... for some odd reason Ive always had troubles connecting to your server . Im getting good ping of 93 ..... but am getting a "connection interruption" message when I try to join your server .

 

Am I banned perhaps ?

No. Maybee you can not pass file check.. If not try to change name and connect again

P.s. Ive just tried changing my name to no avail . I can get on to the 104th and 51st no issue . Also cant get onto RAF server .

Seems at least 3 pilots can not connect to the server..

 

Possibilities of "Connection interrupted":

1. Integrity check. (Uninstall mods)

2. TackView. (turn off tackview)

3. Old version of DCS. (Upgrade DCS with autoupdate).

4. Your nickname is occupied with other pilot. Our statboard allows only one nickname per id. (change your nickname)

 

That is all I know. Our ban list is empty, just warning to those who quit when damaged.

 

If you know other reasons of "connection interrupted" tell me please.

Did a DCS repair and update ..... changed my name . All appears to load up to the end and the "connection Interupted" .

 

For the files you named up above , what am I supposed to compare them against .
