Seems to have a similar screen to the CDU.

Remember, our (ED's) A-10C is not completely current, compared to reality, in the area of avionics updates.

IIRC, at the suite that was modelled for DCS, only a handfull of A-10Cs in service had that new radio, so it wasn't included.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

The 210 has some extra features that would add extra complexity to model, and probably aren't public anyway; that might have contributed to their choice in using the radio they did.

Yup....we put it on before the pilot gets out of the jet and only remove it after they are in the seat...otherwise they like to kick off knobs/switches forcing us to spend hours in the pit looking for FOD>

:D Been there done that.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Pah, ever seen a pliot manage to break a HUD getting into a jet? I have. Knocking brightness control knobs off MHDDs is a favourite as well. And buggering up data transfer cartridges by jamming them in the slot too hard/dropping them.

Seriously, if there is a way for a seat/stick interface unit to break something, they'll find it.

Someone needs to design a guard we can wrap around the pilot so they can't break stuff.

LOL....before I retire I will sign off a pilot write-up as "R2 stick actuator" at least once!
