I have been following the progress of this for some time now. Not bad considering it's just a few guys doing it in their own time after work etc. That explains why its taking so long (I think I heard about this 18 months ago maybe).

Dear AWL

Its Falklands Islands.

Had Argentina won that little lover spat, then we could them Malvinas.

To the victor go the spoils.

Personnally I think that Argentina still holds a grudge against UK, and even US, for not adhering to Monroe Doctrine, for Malvi... I mean Falklands.

So do many of South American nations, which explains bad blood (if unspoken) in Venezuela, Bolivia, Brasil, and Boliva, and US. Which partially accounts for their gradual shift to Leftist Socialist government.

Cool video, I liked aa lot the idea of rocks over in those open range, and the 3D surface looks very natural. The Harrier looks lovely, I'm not sure if it can change heading so quickly..

I hope in new version they put all that black smoke coming out of the engine as the real one.. that would be cool

Looks like those early harrier development videos ... wobbling about! Anyone know how the FMs/RWR/radar models etc will compare to LO ...

oww. I was really looking forward to this one, but for some reason, the video didn't impress me. I know it's a work in progress. Maybe I'm spoiled by ED stuff.

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

I am actually impressed by the terrain. Look at the stones and peaks. that looks amazing. somehow...I guess...yeah....lomac terrain is good...but it needs better optimised shaders etc...so that they can add detail like that.

For a fan project it sure is impressive. I have tryied out many fan projects, not only in the military aviation ( I also fly Space SIM's) and I have always found how doggy and incomplete they are, but this one seems to be more ambitious and they are suceeding in making it good to fly.

You could have a point about being spoiled by ED. LOMAC is certainly a very hard benchmark to judge any other flight sim's graphics against.

Don't forget though, these videos aren't even from a product at alpha stage. Don't get too disheartened yet. Best thing would be to keep an open mind at least until you see how it looks at late alpha or early beta stages of development.

I just hope they're able to see the project through. With no publisher to back them it's taking a long time to do. It would be a crying shame if this didn't get finished.

I was talking about the cockpit-it looks sort of weird. The harrier pit looks like that? And the FM looks odd for some reason. I'm probably mistaken, though. I hope.

Yep right, this is the only one where I see a future and they're going to do an interesting scenario and aircrafts... I wish they win the lottery, get some money and hire some more coders to put the box in the shops...
