Hi folks.

This is one song i've been looking for for 2 years i bet, lol..

The only way i could find this song was to look for the trailer of Pearl Harbor, and although the movie doesn't have anything to do with the music, the music itself is very nice.

To make things easier for you, i just recorded the sound off the trailer, so all you have to do is listen.

I sure hope someone knows the name of the music used in this trailer. I'm a huge fan of movie-themes all around. Hans Zimmer is one of my fav.

Thanks in advance, cheers.

hmm, the correct URL is http://www.home.no/amraam/theme_song-unknown.wma

i guess.

Concerning the theme... have you tried this? Maybe it's there.

Oops, yes, wma, not wmv. Thanks.

Oh and regarding that "amazon" page, this music isn't related to the pearl harbor sounddtrack at all. Trust me, i have them all, or at least i used to.

Hey Ram

Could that be from Pearl Harbour? I will look thru my DVDs and find it, I think I might have it and look thru the credits for the score composer!!! I'll let you know tomorrow.

Oh by the way Ram, if you could could you tell me how you capture your ingame footage in lockon with fraps? Your videos look so sharp, but I cant get mine even close, as well as what program you use to make your movies!!!

I seriously doubt that music is from Pearl Harbor, as i've seen the list of songs included with the sounddtrack, and the song you just listened to is not one of them.

How i make my movies? Well, i play at 1280x1024 Resolution, use fraps 2.6.5 and i record at "half size". I edit and render my movies using Vegas 6.0. I render the movies into 640x480 resolution, at around 2000 bit rate.

Hope this helps.

i agree with Amraam, it is "in" the Pearl Harbor movie, but i couldn't find it within the Pearl Harbor soundtrack. It must have been left out. If it was, then that's pretty hard to find. Some movies do in fact do that, they have sounds in the movie that are not present in the soundtrack. What did you need this sound clip for Amraam? Thinking about putting it in another one of your fantastic films? Because i think that will work, that music would be perfect for a aircraft this is burning up. Might i suggest using Armageddon soundtrack called asteroid chase?

Ok, i think some confusion is going around here..

Let me put it like this:

The music you hear in that sound file DOES NOT EXIST in the movie Pearl Harbor, nor does it exist on the soundtrack for the movie.

And YES, like i said, i downloaded a TRAILER for the pearl harbor movie, and this is where i heard this song. There is also another trailer using a theme from "The thin red line", called "Journey to the line", but i already have 3 versions of this song on my PC. The music playing in the background of the sound-file i have linked to on my first post was recorded from the last trailer made for pearl harbor. But what movie this music is taken from, i don't know.

There's a small chance the song is from "The thin red line" as i don't have the entire soundtrack.

But i'll continue looking....

Man, this must be the #1 "most difficult to find" music EVER lol :horseback

Really? Hans Zimmer megamix, sounds kinda like trance hehe :p

I'm not quite sure if it would be very useful, since i have many many many songs by Hans Zimmer myself, so in other words, you might end up sending me the songs i already have. Thanks for the offer though. :D

WEEEE!!! Some saint on the il-2 forums helped me out, so now i have the song on my HD!! :D

Just to let you know, i can breath now, finally. :icon_supe

Could you please unveil the title?

PS: the Zimmer megamix is just a cute mix of the most beautiful songs by that author. You're likely to have them all already ;) just not mixed together ;)
