Ok seems sunpower did the job !

I have set Sunpower to 0.2 and Voila no overlight anymore.

Thx for the help Mustang :)

Yep that does the trick, although i'm sticking with 0.3 - i'm going to update the mod package shortly with this new setting, the default is way too bright.

edit: 5.32 is up now.

v5.32 updated: adjusted Sunpower value for Warm HDR setting

Hello Mustang,

With your last version your settings are good just for warm HDR or for cold and normal HDR ?

Thanks again and congratulation for your incredible work.

Bye, Skull.

Updated to 5.33, this version is both compatible with 1.2.8 and 1.2.9 (had to make an edit to terrain.cfg.lua)

- IMPORTANT - please do NOT use 5.32 or lower with 1.2.9 or you will get a CTD!

I have this same question. Would you recommend warm HDR, Mustang?

Also I'm on a half day so I'll be home in a few hours and updating, I'll post some feedback when I have it up and running on 1.2.9.

Warm HDR was altered in 5.32 onwards so the models lighting is less aggressive, give it a try and see how you like it, but honestly this mod looks good in any HDR mode so try them all and see which suits you best :)

Ran a quick 30 minute mission with 1.2.9 and V5.33, looks great and didn't see any abnormalities.

Thanks again for all the work Mustang!

Posted many times, disappearing clouds is a long time problem with DCS World, it's not the fault of the mod ;)

One quick last question, is their a proper way to utilize your awesome mod alongside peterps HDR mod? I know in jsgme two files end up being overwritten?

Check out first post, i've uploaded an extra version which has the HDR modifications stripped out of the package so it should work alongside PeterP's mod with no JSGME conflict.

Updated to 1.2.9 as well as version 5.33 of this mod but I have missing textures for A-10C from cockpit view. I see water where there should be wings. I did a DCS repair but same results. I reinstalled 5.33 after repair but still have missing textures. No other mods installed with this 1.2.9 update. Is there a way to completely remove this mod? Apparently a DCS repair won't remove this mod and I sure would hate to think I have to do a complete new DCS install to solve this issue.

DCS repair will definately remove this mod, you will see all the removed files in the Backup folders in your DCS directory

I very much doubt that the modified shaders will break anything with cockpits, the problem must lie elsewhere in your install.

It is clear 1.2.9 made some changes. I had to remove all mods and force the terrain mod back to fix the issues.

Regarding Mustang mod i was running a 5.27 version which made 1.2.9 to crash to desktop. After removing it DCS starts to work again. I will give a try to 5.33 as soon I will be back to my PC.

Use JSGME to disable all mods with a few quick clicks before updating, update, then a few clicks enables all mods again.

Mustang, could you give some hints how to get version 5.29 (my favourite) to work with 1.2.9? I agree with the others that it is one of best mods for visuals, really appreciated.
