Any tips on making money on the stocks/shares?

Regards.

From the 1st Google Result.

HOW TO INVEST

After every assassination, save your game at any safehouse a few times to fast forward to the time of the highest return. Remember, always invest all your money on all three characters. The return percentage may vary from game to game.

Hotel Assassination: Invest in BettaPharmaceuticals (BAWSAQ) before the mission. Look for a 40-50% return.

Multi-target Assassination: Invest in Debonaire (LCN) before the mission. Look for a 80-90% return. Immediately invest in Redwood (LCN) after selling your Debonaire stock as Redwood will see a 300% increase within days.

Vice Assassination: Invest in Fruit (BAWSAQ) before the mission. Look for a 50-60% return.

Bus Assassination: Invest in Vapid (BAWSAQ) after the mission. Ignore any graphs or green/red arrows, if the stock value is well below the "low" value, invest. Look for a 80-90% return (I had to die once before there was any change to the stock).

Construction Assassination: Invest in GoldCoast (LCN) before the mission. Look for a 80-90% return.

I would love to find a better way to make money, I only found realised about the stocks AFTER I competed the assination missions, and short of restarting the entire game again, which I don't really want to do I'm pretty stuck, when it comes to making money.

I love the game but I feel they have made it to much of a grind to make money, the property's are very very expensive so I've pretty much no chance to buy one of those to get a weekly payment, armoured cars only pay out 5k a hit, robbing shops only give you 500. Hell helping people only gives you 50, you can't steal cars and sell them so that avenue is out.

Stocks and shares are so bloody confusing the few times I have tried to make money, I ALWAYS lose or the money just sits there are stagnates, very frustrating and a waste of time to be honest, they should have just put in a casino as it's the same thing.

I know you get a decent payout after the last mission, but even that won't provide you enough to purchase that much property.

A pity really. A great game but let down by having to grind to be able to do anything.

I am loving every moment of GTA 5. So much fun. But its disappointing to read that the campaign is short. I spent over 80h in GTA4 main game campaign. Now I am already at 23/69 in GTA 5 and only spent around 18h...thats including all characters and me fooling around here and there..taking chop for a walk, sidequests etc. Rockstar deserve the sales success they are getting for the game. So much minute detail.. ppl giving you the finger if you cut them off on the road... damage to the front end of the car...a handling change to the driving...and you can visually see the wheel well grinding on the tire and feel the sluggishness.

yeah... I am delaying Lesters missions for Franklin.. I am only at 60K in franklin's money..I want to get more before starting and then will invest everything at once to get a big income payout.

Well GTA: Online comes out in a few hours, and apparently there is a decent amount of missions and story for the online portion. So I think they spent a lot more time working on the MP portion of this game than they did GTA4. I still hope they make more sizable expansions, although I didn't really notice any "tie in" characters that could be shared between such content. It does appear that Lester and Lamar do make an appearance in MP.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

Yeah pretty much was for a day. Apparently PSN had some bug where it limited the total number of players to some obscenely small number and no-one could connect. Also deleting the patch and re-installing it is also helping people who are having issues on PS3. It was utterly hopeless getting online for all of tuesday and part of today, but after re-installing the patch I started getting online and having some fun.

Once you get in...

The good:

Can be utter chaos. Its just great to see 50 cops chasing someone else for a change.

Nice selection of default missions/races/etc. More becomes available as you rank up. Level 5 or 6 is roughly when it starts to open up.

It also appears that you can join a more advanced mission if you are invited.

Missions have so far been more enjoyable than free-roam.

Your car is yours. It will almost always spawn where-ever you are and is left wherever you left it.

Many missions allow you to play by yourself.

The bad:

Occasionally some network hiccups which either result in you having to wait for it to time out (10 minutes I hear) or just force quitting the game and re-launching.

No default option to just globally mute everyone. (Could just be me not knowing where it might be if it exists)

There is some rubber banding with AI vehicles.

When in the game lobby you are unable to mute players or really do anything except for quit.

The Ugly:

Basic activities are locked for a few levels.

I forgot how horrible VOIP is on console and how annoying the people on the other end of the mic can be.

Some actions have been replaced to rely on mic input. For example to intimidate a cashier to load the money faster is bound to a button in SP, in MP you have to have a mic setup, and not having a mic removes the capability.

Sometimes for a connection error it returns you to singleplayer rather to a solo MP session which is basically a single player game but with your MP character.

It will be interesting to see how this evolves as you rank up and they add more features.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

Well My Xbox 360 Just broke.

Launch Console, had her since Day 1. Upgraded the HDD a few times.

Powers on, Boots, But no Image through Component or Composite.

Was having issues with it losing one of the colors and turning Green tinted for the last few weeks.

So while not "dead", she's definately disabled now.

Will look into getting an Xbox 360 E w/ 250 GB Drive. (gotta find my transfer cable, lol).

As far as assasination missions.

The only one I Did was the Life Invader Phone to the Face bomb mission.

I have about $2,3xx,xxx.xx on Micheal, and about $22x,xxx on Franklin.

Random Funny Moment...

Playing as Franklin, Heading to the Safe house to Save

AI SUV Ran a Red Light, I slammed the brakes and tapped him lightly, he cursed or yelled and stuff.

I resume going home, park the car in the drive way, get out, start to walk around to the front of the house, and the SUV Comes speeding down the street and pulls up in my driveway (running into the house), AI Dude gets out and starts talking about beating me, I Tap LB and Pull out my Carbine, and he runs away screaming that I'm crazy tripping over his feet, I get in his SUV and park it in my Garage.

Thanks for the Free SUV Buddy.

So far the Only Car I wasnt able to Keep was the Police Car when I rescued the Wife (playing as Mike).

Too bad I cant take some of these cars and sell the off for money.. lol.
