Hello guys,

 

I have a little question for our friend Mainstay, this morning I've tested your Mexican repaint (of course I really love this repaint).

I'm not specialist of the repaints but it seems that we have a little problem with the textures of the wheels.

In the sunlight everything is OK but when I watch my wheels in the shadow I loose the bumping of the wheels, is it normal ?

 

A little specular problem ?

I've tested with the Russia repaint and in the sunlight or shadow I don't have this problem...

 

Please can you tell me if it's normal or a little bug with the textures...

 

As it's not easy I join you one screeshot of your repaint and the Russia version, in the sunlight everything is OK but in the shadow the bug appear...

 

On the #1, #2, #3 all is OK but the #4 a bug ?

 

 

Of course it's not a bad note, just a little question ^^

Mi-8T in Bundeswehr service as a SAR (Search And Rescue) helicopter. The helicopters were mostly used by LTgrp (LuftTransportGruppe) Briest at the Baltic coast. The machine is now at display at Interessengemeinschaft Ju.52 in Springe

Excelent job on the Mexican Navy.. Only a problem I found it to be Too "White" and Shinny... is there any way I can change it to a little darker tone.

Ill see what i can do. Problem is i lost the basematerial as i wanted to correct the shadows since i made a mistake in the initial release. Its only one the main fueselage i lost so it shouldnt take more then a few hours to correct.

 

Anyways i agree Alfredo im gonna make a bit darker one :) First i finish croatian one ok :smilewink:

All your work is really nice looking, hats off !

 

Would you know if it would be possible to change the main rotor texture a little bit, for the blurred blade effet looks more accurate ?

 

You see here after blade root " arm ", the real airfoil start to take shape, while on the virtual texture it's barely visible, could it be edited to mimic the real blade ?

 

It is there but so lightly it gives the impression we don't know in which direction the rotor turns, and the blade looks as thin as the root " arm "

Mainstay, if you're using Photoshop select the layer the colours are on and rightclick for blending options, and from there Color Overlay > change overlay colour to black and play with the opacity to get a darker effect.
