guitarxe Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Just need to add a few more screens and panels :pilotfly:
Davis0079 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 if DCS was designed in the bad ass crater of badassitude it would support stuff like this It only takes two things to fly, Airspeed and Money.
cichlidfan Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I think I might be afraid to install a new patch if I had something like that hooked to DCS. ;) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! agrasyuk Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 from software standpoint i do not see an issue, stuff can be exported for utilities like tac view . but chances are very few people can get on board with needed hardware. the setup your vid is awesome for cars generating fractions of G's felt by driver in 4 directions. but for plane you would need one of those to have all aspect of G force induction http://youtu.be/Y-skv7GtXFc. and that probably requires a winning lottery ticket :) Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project
xaoslaad Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 The one in the OP probably requires winning the lottery for most, too. They say the cost of a mid-class car. Otherwise take your pick, real car, or sim car...
agrasyuk Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 i thought somewhere i cam across ~4500 figure for that or similar car setup. Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project

IMHO it can (for example) test your vestibular system and your orientation in space, but it is not useful as motion platform for a military grade flight sim. 1 Per aspera ad astra!
