Bee_Sting Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I noticed that Dcs has gone unnoticed by most Americans and I was wondering are Americans too immature for Dcs or just not interested.Since Dcs World was released for free on steam Americans are downloading it,but they wanna play it like a arcade. It seems that Americans want the Su-25t in Dcs World to be like the Su-25t in Battlefield 3. I have seen on youtube Americans try to have a play thru and when they can't fly the su-25t they say the game sucks. Have the Americans given up on flight sims or to bumbared with the Hollywood type of flight sims and fps games? What's your take on this issue? Comments Please!! :smartass:

Without access to ED internal figures you cannot realistically claim to know which country has the most DCS customers.

Comments Please!! :smartass: I am an American and i absolutely LOVE this simulator, I especially love the A-10C (the only plane i have atm). I much prefer this version of the Su-25T than any version in battlefield (even though i still like battlefield). And please, just because our current leaders are so bad, don't call us immature DCS: F-4E really needs to be a thing!!!!!! SkateZilla Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Where is the OP getting the Data to assume that no American's Play DCS? and if they do they want Arcade? I Play Regularly, and with upwards of 80 Different people All in the states (and that's not counting the SimHQ Group I Occasionally Visit). If you're going by posts on Steam, then that's a mistake. Most of them are people that see pretty screen shots and assume it's a Game/Arcade Style Shooter (ie Ace Combat). DCS World is a Simulation. There are similar comments on other simulator forums regarding "Make it Easier" type motives. I prefer DCS Series over Flaming Cliffs Airframes Personally. Double_D Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Seriously dude! Keep your muffins recipes!!! I'm not trolling just looking for people thoughts!! This is the definition of trolling!! ''In Internet slang, a troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people'' The replies to your question, should be a good indication of why some stay away, new members are tortured here on the forums..I know I will also after posting this...just like most other forums you will get alot of negative feedback...which frustrates a great many who then just say I don't need this and don't return.. Members should be more respectful of new members who are just starting out and are about to go on a long learning curve.. Hope this may help you understand.. PS: I also went under the gun ... under a different user name, when I started a Comptetion site for Lock On... Scarecrow Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I noticed that Dcs has gone unnoticed by most Americans Comments Please!! :smartass: DCS goes unnoticed by most people everywhere. Flight sims are a niche product and their appeal has nothing to do with your nationality. If you look at the flight sim community I'd bet that citizens of the United States make up a fairly large percentage.. Your initial post comes off a bit inflammatory and sounds a bit like a "Yank bashing" invitation. Just saying ;)
