  1. Past hour
  2. Hi axis for zoom is working here, are you sure you are in the axis section? as for the jettison it is reported. thank you
  3. Yeah 10fps with your system seems odd for sure, if you have a track replay that isnt to big, attach it so we can test it also. Just bear in mind some servers run many scripts and external databases which dont play well with track replays. thank you
  4. @nir thank you! I always work with voice actors from the countries / regions I build campaigns for, this is an important detail. Glad you noticed & liked it!
  5. Sorry, I should add it in M01 actually. I started updates as I was fixing the issues in different missions, hence the whole confusion...
  6. About us Virtual Air Fighters is a community that has been described as "MilSim Light". We fly exciting Hollywood style missions, with an emphasis on fun and engagement over pure realism. We invite all UK pilots to come and give us a go. We are welcoming and now we're coming to the end of the summer holidays, it's time to get back to mission readiness. Links below for our application form Pilot Application This application is for all new pilots who wish to fly with us. Once we have the numbers you will be split into individual Squadrons depending on your abilities and preferences. Navy or Air Force. Just because you select one group now doesn't mean there isn't the ability to change in the future. Squadron changes will happen at the discretion of senior staff members and a request to move cannot be made more than once per year. We must make it clear that we are NOT a heavy military simulator group, we run exciting missions that don't always conform to realism. When we bring on new pilots we are way more interested in your personality and how you fit into the team than we are with your skill set. New applicants will be required to do a check flight with a senior member of the team. This is to ensure your personality fits with our team. Basic Requirements: Must be 18 years or Older Must reside within the UK/Ireland. HOTAS or Equivalent. Headset/Microphone (Required) Must be able to fly at least 1 day of the 2 per week. See application form for days. We are extremely flexible when it comes to flight times, your personal life will always take precedent over any sim flight team. We are understanding to your personal needs. However, a continuous lack of communication or involvement in the team over several weeks will result in a single warning followed by removal from your Squadron and if necessary a reapplication will be required. 7. That is possible with the trigger for fuel... I'll wait and see if I get any other reports about this one.
  8. Yes, the splash damage is much bigger now, on my list to check (and while at it, update the FARP with new assets we have available now). Thanks!
  9. Hey! Apologies for late reply. We introduced some changes to M9, things should be working much better now.
  10. Check this out:
  11. I'll see if I can fine-tune it.. but if you get the prompt for report you should already be in zone.. but glad it worked well on the second try.
  12. Hello commander , thank you I already understood this subject but it got a bit clearer I will try to use the in-game performance monitor and see what happens What I don't understand is that neither the GPU nor the CPU go above 20-30% usage (according to the Nvidia monitor) Shouldn't the CPU be around 90-100% if it was the bottleneck? And even if it is 4 years old , it is still a i9-10900K, it should give me more than 10-30 FPS right ? Hello Big news , thanks for your help I will try that! I perfectly understand that the MP missions can be huge but I'm talking about 10 FPS , there must be some problem regarding CPU and GPU usage ?
  13. Negative, I won't be touching it. Campaign was built with Litening and swapping them could possibly lead to issues. Players are free to do so on their own risk especially with the current issues with the Sniper.
  14. This was fixed in the last update. Apologies for the late reply, had a very intensive summer with little time for DCS...
  15. Hey! Thanks. Ad.1. the waypoint is square on the building, the coordinates are from the F10 map... so I think this is more on the DCS side of things. Maybe I should put the waypoint behind the building though? Ad.2.I think ED increased the splash damage of bombs. I will check if there are "friendlies" around the APC but if there are for design purposes they must be invisible and immortal... so not sure if there is anything I can do about it. Oh wait, there are in the FARP, but these are statics. Anyway, will check. And I can update the FARP to make it look better with new assets added some time ago. Ad.3. OK. That is AI being stupid, especially that the FL should have unlimited fuel set to on (facepalm)
  16. Hi, please run a slow repair try moving the input folder for the aircraft to the desktop, create new bindings and test. Attach your dcs log so we can look for clues. thank you
  17. Hi, currently we do not have any plans for VR in combined arms. In the future we may consider combined arms 2 or something like that. Adding VR support would take considerable effort and resources.
  18. Will have a look at this one, thanks.
  19. @MnMailman the coordinates are OK, I checked them several times. Whenever you get the offset information, it is always bearing first, range second (like bullseye calls).
  20. Hello all! Is there a way to place the camera anywhere in the world directed from the F10 Map? Example: I have combined arms. I place an artillary unit. I want to have a look at bridge with my camera before I fire. Then I want to look as the shells rain down on that location with the same camera. Can I click somewhere on the F10 Map then slave/teleport the camera to that location? Is there any other way that is better? Thanks for the help guys!
  21. @OmasRachE normally the whole parking area is marked with a zone, it should play once you stop. I'll check the lead behavior, I think OrbX changed some things on the map and some parking spots might have been affected. Adding this one for investigating. In general you are never asked to taxi all the way back after landing, so the AI must have mislead you - the parking is always at the end of the runway on which you land.
  22. Hey @Aerovenator I had this reported before twice, and in both cases it was something on user's end. Please check the following list (especially if you have any mods installed). These days many things installed on user's PC can break the AI behavior for some reason: The No.1 Rule with DCS Campaigns... If you have ANY mod that is NOT purchased from the DCS Store, it will probably cause issues. SRS and OpenKneeboard(Mostly VR users) seem to be ok, as we test these missions using both. Make sure to remove any and all mods before flying campaigns. (Check out OVGME, I use it daily and it works well) If you have no mods, or if removing all mods still does not fix the issue, take the following steps(Test after each step): 1) Delete fxo and metashaders2 folders in your saved games. Can get gummed up with old files. 2) Rename you DCS Saved Games folder, run DCS and let it create a new one. Close DCS and then just copy the Config folder from the old to the new so you don't lose your bindings and also copy your logbook.lua from saved games mission editor folder, that way you don't lose campaign progress. (Some mods can write to places like your scripts folder in your saved games location as an example. Also seems to help sometimes even if you never run mods at all) 3) Do a full deep repair of DCS to clear up any unwanted stuff in your main game folder. Some settings to check: 1) If you have easy comms enabled, disable it. 2) Under Gameplay options, make sure the tick box on the bottom right for "No force from mission, use mine" is NOT ticked. 3) Try disabling TacView under special options. It can cause issues, usually performance, that can lead to bugs if your cores are overloaded/too busy and it misses a trigger point due to that.
  23. Possible, I'll mark it down for checking. Also, apologies for late reply @OmasRachE, it was crazy time since June on family front!
  24. Hi, we've submitted a Pull Request for MOOSE Airboss for the carriers in Vietnam War Vessels and it got accepted. Support is now baked into MOOSE develop - https://github.com/FlightControl-Master/MOOSE_INCLUDE/tree/develop/Moose_Include_Static MOOSE master - https://github.com/FlightControl-Master/MOOSE_INCLUDE/tree/master/Moose_Include_Static Special Thanks to @Reccelow for initiating the idea and supporting the team!
