  4. 22 August 2025 Dear Fighter Pilots, Partners and Friends, We’re excited to share our first instruction video for the upcoming DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum. In this MiG-29A Introduction initial episode, we discuss the key features of the Fulcrum such as its mission, engines, sensors, weapons, handling, and a walkthrough of its cockpit layout as reference for future instruction videos. This presentation sets the stage for upcoming tutorials on cold start, navigation, sensors, weapons, and more. The MiG-29A will also include a Guide and interactive training missions for all our new and existing Fulcrum pilots. The DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum is currently available as a pre-purchase at 30% off. Once released into early access, the discount will be reduced to 20% while in the early access phase. Strap in and light the afterburners because it's time for the High Alpha Hooligans Dogfight Tournament! This is not an airshow, but rather full-throttle aerial chaos where only the boldest virtual pilots survive. The sky is your battleground. Join up now on the High Alpha discord. Thank you for your passion and support. Yours sincerely, Eagle Dynamics MiG-29A Fulcrum Intro video now live We just released the MiG-29A Introduction video for our upcoming DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum. Also known as project 9-12A, this Soviet light fighter was designed in the 1970s, and entered service in 1983. This episode reviews the Fulcrum’s design and mission and its key features such as twin RD-33 engines, automatic slats, an all-moving tailplane, and 9G capability combined with high angle-of-attack flight. Paired with the Helmet-Mounted Sight and R-73 high off-boresight air-to-air missile, the Fulcrum is a deadly opponent in a dogfight. This video also reviews the planned weapons for our MiG-29A which includes the R-60, R-60M, R-73, R-27R/T, and R-27ER/ET air-to-air missiles and GSh-30-1 cannon. Our Fulcrum can also employ unguided air-to-ground weapons such as bombs and rockets. Although considered a 4th generation fighter, the P-12A does not include multifunction displays, but rather a HUD repeater screen, ‘steam’ gauges, and limited Hand-On Throttle and Stick (HOTAS) functions. Despite this, the MiG-29A is a deadly opponent in Beyond Visual Range (BVR) combat when armed with long-range R-27ER and ET missiles, and when operated by skilled pilots. Keep an eye out for the next chapters where we learn the steps to bring a cold and dark Fulcrum to life, taxi to the runway, and take off. Development Progress Development progress on the DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum continues with much of the work focused on completing aircraft systems, the damage model, data transfer cartridge (DTC), skins, content, and bug fixing and tuning. We are also working on a large set of default controller input assignments to support several popular sticks and throttles. A 1st person pilot will also be available at launch; an often requested feature from VR pilots. It will also include ground equipment such as engine, intake, pitot, and louvre covers. We’ve been taking good note of the many MiG-29A skin requests you have made. At launch, we will provide the Soviet Union and Russia, East Germany, Poland, Kazakhstan, North Korea, and Syria. Many more are in the works and will be coming soon. Additional external modelling tasks being worked on, including highly detailed missile and bomb pylons and external fuel tanks. A version of the NS430 navigation system is also being developed for the DCS: MiG-29A as a separate download, and both English and Cyrilic cockpit and HUD options will be available at launch. 5. This later is difficult, since pilots are entitled to their flier's supplement.
  6. Hi, you do not currently. Its not possible for Campaigns at this time. Campaigns are usually story driven and have many triggers. It needs a lot of consideration before saved game can be considered here. thank you
  7. I got past the low fps area, once I took off, it was ok. Im just getting started in this dlc. It was after the intro, starting at Nellis being introduced to Paco, being in that parking area was most problematic It was a studder..turning off mirrors help So I point finger at maybe too many objects on the ground on nellis Cause I can fly multiplayer with tomcat at 90 fps VR no prob Note im running 5090 and 9800x3d, modest graphics settings
  8. Type 002 already in this forum, but Type 003 Grim Reaper he used the US Carrier for disguise. The real Type 003 Mod now only the Chinese community have it
  9. When I hit escape, there is no save game option. What do I have to do to enable it?
  10. Да обещали же в сентябре выход в РД. Планировали на Июль, по-моему. С учетом августовской обновы от 13 числа, что-то в районе месяца осталось. ИМХО!!!
  11. Yup, and place a checkmark "Pilot is on diet"
  12. maybe we can remove the bottle since it's mass is stated in the manual...
  13. R-27T was only a matter of procurement. APU470 is a cooled rail. Asked a MiG technician - yes it could use the T, no they didn't have them delivered. Model - baseline 9-12. Photos of APU470 preparation TBD. Regarding Su-27 not being able to launch it from AKU - it's not about loosing lock, it's about AKU doesn't incorporate cooling system in the first place.
  14. Right but they don’t look nearly good enough for what people expect here today. A civy sim global map is meant to be seen from high altitude. Combat games have action going on right at the ground. It’s going to just look really dull compared to the custom maps and to me those are preferable in a combat game. Battles take place in theaters. Not across the globe. DCS already has maps large enough for flights longer than most players are probably willing to do. The reason civy sims have global maps is variety, so you can fly to or from anywhere. But to me there isn’t a need to have battles in San Diego or Miami. The trade off in quality won’t be worth it for most people I imagine. My guess is players would rather see something like the Germany map up close vs being able to just fly for hours or stage action in odd places around the world. My vote is a global map is dead last compared to all the other things DCS could have. Maybe that’s the goal? Spherical maps but not global?
  15. I am happy that you are still on your path, no matter how many rocks are in your way. I can send you an msffb2 stick, if you need one to implement ffb at a later stage. Just send me a msg, would be happy to contribute in some way.
  16. The ergonomics and methodology on this is horrendous.
  17. Today
  18. Good info, Bull! However, just wanted to note that you can't even get close to the published numbers with rich mixture because the fuel burn will be way off, if that's a concern to you. Have a look at this and you can see the effect of rich vs. auto-lean:
  19. It's non functional. The only way to use MIDS is via SRS as a radio
  20. What pressure. After -Rudel- mentioned that they have a look, I did not put any pressure but his first reactions indicated, that they did not consider this a bug at all. So waiting for nothing to happen won´t solve my problem. And unfortunately I will have to have fun with other birds. Sad but hey, my hangar is quite big.
  21. I 100% get that it isn't realistic BUT it's already been done for a few other aircraft regardless of their realism. It's really only for convenience because I can never get it back to default trim after I've used it. I have about 11 aircraft but the one listed below are the only ones that have a trim reset. A-10C II - "Trim: Reset" AH-64D - "Trim - RESET to default" P-51 - "Trimmers Reset" TF-47 - "Trimmers Reset"
  22. Do you mean bergisons g-seat? https://bergisons.simpit.info/motion-integrated-g-seat I think he has also a thread somewhere on here, but haven't looked for it.
  23. Great idea! However, I don't know how to look up those values with lua at the moment. If you can provide that info I can try to integrate it. Also, I'm a big fan and advocate for pilots conducting instrument scans properly, especially in this warbird. I think moving some of the data from the instrument panel to the upper corner will teach bad habits, and might be a "cheat" for the mission you want to make which includes scoring. You might end up climbing quickly, but what good is the pilot if they never had to look at the instruments and handle the aircraft properly the first time? Just my 2 cents. Cheers.
  24. Lucky you - at least you're getting some communication. I placed my order in April, but changed it to Ultrawide, which means no way I'm getting it before the end of this year... *sigh*
  25. I do agree with you. What I wanted to say is: Try to have fun with bird and don`t stop putting some pressure on M3. We need bug fixesas soon as possible. I will post a video of how I manage to turn and getting to the runway by using my keyboard.
  26. Thanks, really nice for using when exploring the aircraft limits. I'm currently on the first stages of editing a training mission for Engine management, using a Climb to 25,000 feet as a fixed situation to be able to monitor it using triggers. My purpose is to learn the proper use of all controls: Super Charger, cooling flaps, throttle, mixture, with the mission reminding me of operating the blower properly as we climb, learn to keep an eye on temps, etc. To give a worthwhile mission objective and add a sens of urgency, I intend to record the time it takes to get to 25,000, the less time the higher the score because of this, I wonder if you could add to the script some engine management parameters, like cyl temp, oil temp, etc ... it would help me a lot while I develop my mission, as reading the gauges while flying makes me kind of lose focus on my aircraft handling best regards, Eduardo
  27. Sorry I don`thave this map. So I can not test it.
