check dtc procedures CMDS_ALE47.lua not Respected
MAXsenna replied to ExNusquam's topic in Bugs and Problems
I just wonder when we can actually insert the DTCs, like in the Viggen. -
Did it reset your Defender exclusions? If you had any, that is.

The air intakes are great. We will wait for your covers, pads and stepladders in the flyable model.- 118 replies

Yea, look at the years and build numbers. 99% of them are -1 and -1A. Some reports provide a picture of the tested aircraft.

Hello , I revisited the Reforger 2 campaign, and unfortunately, in the latest version of DCS, mission 3 is broken. I know how the mission is supposed to play out, but now it seems that the mission cannot be completed. Once the bombing run starts on the two bunkers, I line up on the First Bunker and Jester has the laser on target and calls the drop. Everything looks good for the drop. After the hit, Jester reports that BOTH bunkers have been destroyed and asks for permission to rejoin ??? However, he then reports the stats and mentions only two GBU, despite having three on board. I never received the call for a re-run on bunker two, and instead, we are tasked to destroy the 2 SCUD that are moving on the road. After we destroy the lead vehicle, I am doing the re-run on vehicle two. Once it is destroyed, I receive a "good hit" call. Immediately after that, Jester asks for a target assessment, and I have no choice but to re-run again with the last GBU left from the supposed Bunker 2, which never happens. Once he locks onto the vehicle, he never gives the DROP command. I then went down low to visually inspect the vehicles that actually are destroyed and burning. Something is off, as I never got a second bunker call and drop like before, and despite the SCUDS being destroyed no other calls are given except "Target Assessment" It seems the triggers are messed up.

ETA on ground crew acknowledging static objects.
BarTzi replied to Tom P's topic in DCS: Supercarrier
It was never designed with static objects in mind. Place them carefully so the ground crew won't guide you into them. -

Is it possible to make covers and pads an argument in the model? Do you have access to the model? Thank you.- 118 replies

The new multi-target functionality doesn't work in certain circumstances. In the attached track, I show one: if the target is too close when directing George to attack multiple targets, he will not engage even after the constraints are fulfilled. To reproduce: 1. Approach a series of target at close range 2. PHS search on targets 3. Select two or more targets and ask George to designate 4. George will notify he is out of constraints when the permission granted button depressed 5. Move to a location within constraints and depress permission button 6. George will not engage georgebug.trk

Duplicate thread. Lots of discussion already. Have a quick look at the long discussions in the other threads. In short, no. Things have changed since the training missions were made. You need cowl and oil flaps open otherwise you’ll overheat.
-
Having this exact issue but first noticed when trying to loft like I’ve done so many time before and now no longer working. I’ll look into the dead zones fix tomorrow hopefully it’s the answer
-
Oil cooler closed sounds very suspicious. Either way, check your temps. You cannot keep the coolers closed if you eventually overheat your engine.

Which is odd because there's other performance tests of F4U-1 subvariants on the same site that show speeds approaching 420mph.

I really don't understand what is so difficult about answering a simple question, in a FAQ thread, about information mentioned in the FAQ. What manual, that is apparently available on Amazon, was/is used for the baseline development of this aircraft?

Does anyone have a Super living near(ish) Cambridge UK that would be willing to demo? I'd really like to see how it looks.

I tried the carrier landing training mission a month or so ago & thought I would repeat it because I'm trying to practice my landings. This time, since the last update, I'm wondering if the training instructions need to be updated too. They say to close the cowl flaps & there is no mention of the oil cooler flap, which is closed. A few times doing this training mission my engine quickly seizes up before I can get to the carrier. Are these settings correct for a carrier landing?

need data Sound of engine winding down during startup
Archangel44 replied to P3CFE's topic in Bugs and Problems
I hear it as well and it does sound like something is winding down. I have a diesel truck and when I throttle down, I can hear the turbo spooling down and the F-16 start up around 40% sounds just like that except it’s in the background of the main part of the jet still spooling up. I always thought it was the sound of the device used to get the compressor winding up at initial start up and at around 40%, that device shuts down. Don’t know but it still sounds cool.
