Sure it does, if you toggle your "Clickable Mouse Cockpit Mode - ON/OFF" mode.

Thing is, those modernized F-4s are really unique animals to the versions in game. It wasn’t just the radar sets, but the aircraft mission computers, weapon sets, and various avionics which were changed. On some modernized F-4s , enough wiring was consolidated to reduce the aircraft’s weight by thousands of pounds. There’s the APG-66 in the Hellenic , German ICE and Japanese F-4s, then the ELTA GMTI radar in the Kurnass 2000 (no Sparrow capability however), plus the AIM-120 integration for the Hellenic and German F-4s. Developing one of these would be a dedicated module in and of itself.

Well, I've got almost all modules including new Fulcrum plus NS430. This update nearly touches everything in my installation. Might take a while this time ...

My experience with the 1.42.1. PP update and Firmware update today. What kind of wizardry is this?? I did the 1.42.1.177 update of Pimax Play. And I updated my Pimax Crystal Super firmware from 1.07 to 1.08. As some of you might I have read here I have been a bit nervous about this because I think that my Crystal Super was running pretty well with 1.40.4 Pimax Play version and the 1.07 firmware for the Super. And I hate to break things. Especially the firmware update made me a bit nervous. And for a minute or two there right after the firmware update I was extra nervous. Pimax Play started to complain about USB connection - which was a problem that my Crystal OG used to have in the beginning "back in day" with my old PC. (But that became better and was eventually solved). But my Super never has had that issue before on this new PC. But I thought - "oh no..." My Super headset is bricked! And looking into the headset ... just a big yellow or green square that seemed to move randomly around. I unplugged the headset, re-started my PC and now it seems like it is working like before. I have not tried DCS yet. But I did a few short flights in MSFS 2024. Struggling with frame rate in MSFS 2024 with this headset is... as expected. So what I did some days before this Pimax update was to set Pimax Play at 0.75 resolution. Use Quad Views inside MSFS 2024, edit the MSFS 2024 config file to lower the Quadviews area from 0.5 to 0.3, and also with DLSS at Quality settings I have managed to get 72 fps with almost no stuttering either! Maybe not in the big cities and biggest airports, but elsewhere at least. Now - that fluidity has come with a price. Going from 1.0 to 0.75 in Pimax Play still gives a fairly big resolution, but of course it is not as sharp as 1.0/High setting. And then DLSS on top of that... But I have preferred the fluidity with 72 fps. When I read about people saying they have good and fluid experience with 35-40 fps i MSFS 2024 I just don't understand what they even mean. It's horrible. Anyway--- not as sharp then with these settings I had. But fluid. And still sharper than with my Quest 3 anyway - and much bigger FOV. Now here comes the 1.42.1 update... and I didn't know it applied 0.6 sharpening inside Pimax Play by default. So when I started up and got into the cockpit of the Comanche in MSFS 2024 I almost fell out of the chair. Everything was sharp! I thought I had forgot to set DLSS on, or forgot to lower the resolution in Pimax Play - but I had done all that. And secondly - the sound of the Comanche aircraft was really loud! I had to turn it down a bit. (It was not like this before the updates today). And that I am fairly sure is because of the 1.08 firmware update I also did - which I think I read was improving sound. So it sounded great, things were really sharp and crisp - almost too much - I think I will reduce the sharpening a bit. Right now it's sharper than my OG Crystal at 1.0 and no DLSS. That is my first impression. And it's so sharpened that I think it looks a bit over sharpened. But that's good. I can always tune it a bit down. And it's fluid at 72fps, stable outside the big cities. So, this sharpening feature - I really like. And I can't wait to try No Man's Sky in VR. I have to use DLSS there to get the performance, but there seems to be no in game sharpening there. And of course DCS later. Thanks Calvin and the team. Hopefully I won't run into trouble later on

One of the basic keys to winning the campaign is that the player should take the most important task of a mission. Leave the AI flights to the supporting roles. Also, a mindset change from the usual dcs air quake/me against the world one is needed. You're part of a team working together to accomplish an objective. Per irl, have overwhelming power at the point of the mission. Don't dilute your resources on multi-tasking missions, one flight doing this, one doing that, etc.. That just increases the chance that none will be successful. I.e., If cas is needed, have at least three flights doing it. Same for any other mission. It's only two aircraft per flight.

347? That's a ton! I have all the maps and I'm at 165GB. (Glad I have a 2TB NVME just for DCS) Did you miss a few updates and you're getting them all now?

Чтобы как можно быстрее посмотреть МиГ, надо временно удалять ёмкие карты. Я не сделал этого и теперь 4 часа качать...

ENDLICH!!! Das Warten hat ein Ende. The 'Baaz' has landed! Und der Zusatz für das NS430 ist auch ein feiner Zug von ED. Freue mich schon auf die kommenden Tage/Woche um mich in das Modul einzuarbeiten.

AJaromir started following RSBN/PRMG and DCS 2.9.20

In the lastest patch there are new RSBN/PRMG beacons and also new mobile RSBN/PRMG beacon units. Mig-21 used "virtual" beacons that were not on the map but stored directly in the aircraft's code. Is the Mig-21 updated to be compatibile with this new feature?

I am extremely interested in trying this -
Really good update with great content! Looking forward to the SCAS yaw fix, but especially to the new content on the Iraq map. Thank you very much!

Lots of map love in this update, and that's my kinda love!

Hi DCS Team, It seems, the mission editor does not save all the lines/ polygons/ actions/ triggers/ handles from a mission when saving/ creating a mission template. It just saves all the planes, ships, vehicles, etc. So in other words, when adding an existing template/ mission in to the newly created mission, all the lines/ polygons/ actions/ triggers/ handles, are missing. It would be great if we save a mission template, and load it, that all the triggers are saved as well, not just the materials. Kind regards, RWC

I love Ugras work (Thanks for great maps!), but I fail to understand how he/they can add dozens upon dozens of landmarks and features and just ignore endless comments about trees and bushes growing in the middle of airfields, wrong period hangars (If you can model a dozen European cathedrals, you'd think they could model a British WW2 hangar) etc. Awesome that we are finally getting winter though- thanks for that!
