The machine locks up, I have to restart it, so I don't think it logs it correctly, but this is the latest log. dcs.log

correct as is CCRP doesn't work with APKWS, unlike all other rockets
Priest replied to Hulkbust44's topic in Bugs and Problems
I just figured it out! After manually changing the rocket type on station 8 to M-151 (these are really M-282L) there was no profile for the "M-151" so I created that manually through the profile page and everything green! @Yurgon and yes to answer your question M-282L loaded at mission start on stations 4, 8, and 2 per mission editor loadout, then DSMS-INV page, select station 8 (in this case) and cycle to a different rocket type, save, and I'd get the screen shot above. The missing piece was the profile select station 8 (in this case again) then select PROF, then enter name for profile via scratchpad, select OSB with NEW[] next to it on left, then SAVE, and done. -

Operation Georgian Job - Intro Mission - Can't pass?

@BIGNEWY @NineLine I've reported a few issues here in June and haven't seen the devs respond to a single post here since then, even after pinging 6s.duke. Can you get in touch and let them know people are looking for support? -
Indeed, thanks for sharing! The sub skipper was also featured in a German documentary where he almost busted his check ride. Nice to see him firmly in the saddle now.

I've never verified this in-game, but doesn't world slider affect the overall volume of everything in game, all at once? I don't think DCS has any settings that allow a user to individually alter the volume levels relative to other planes (individual sound levels per module).

I've seen this same thing happen with other warbirds in DSC...not sure if that has been fixed in any of them. The reason I know is because I quite enjoy purposefully tumbling them on landing to check out the damage modeling. Other than the double empennages and some floating tail structure after it breaks off, the Corsair has a pretty sweet damage model.

Antenna Mast Fluttering, Whistle Effect and Wing Vibration
Cgjunk2 replied to Invisibull's topic in Bugs and Problems
If we have to have visual effects for the sake of visual effects, then you might as well add some function to it, like flutter during a slide slip. Makes perfect sense to expect some fluttering in that condition, although don't know if it lines up with reality. -

CCRP doesn't work with APKWS, unlike all other rockets
Yurgon replied to Hulkbust44's topic in Bugs and Problems
Interesting; as far as the jet is concerned, I'd have thought it would detect a LAU-131 or a LAU-68 (IIRC), but should be entirely unable to tell which rockets are in there. So just to be clear, you had the DSMS fully loaded with APKWS on at least one station, then you went into DSMS -> INV and changed that station to another type of rocket with the same launcher, and then it showed an error? Which was the indication next to the station? -

Hey guys, Am I doing something wrong in this intro mission - I follow the planes flying and then when the C-130 lands, radio says to land. I land. ATC says turn left and go to left and keep going left and nothing happens. I even went right of the runaway where the C-130 is parked again nothing happens. Now if I close the mission, I get a failed mission. How do I proceed to next level. This is very frustrating as I just bought this module and even the training missions are bugged. I just paid for this product like 3-4 days ago from this post, and I do expect support on this product. I am not getting answers anywhere.

This is complete fiction. I have every warbird (except the I-16) and every single one of them, including the Corsair, reacts to torque above stall speed. First you make a claim relative to stall speed and now you've changed that claim to be relative to 120kts. Which is it? Furthermore, we don't have any warbirds with greater than 2,000hp. The P-47 and F4U have engines that are rated to 2,000hp (no more) but the hp you actually get is going to vary greatly depending on altitude and power settings. All the other warbirds we have are in the 1,700 range and that's at WEP. Additionally, the criticisms using that "Taming the beast" video as evidence are blatantly ignoring the context in order to fit their own confirmation biases. First, that's a British clipped wing corsair. Then someone jumps in the standard non-clipped module and attempts to make a comparison but it's an invalid comparison because they're in the wrong aircraft. Second, in the real footage of landing practice you can see that there's no stall strip installed on the starboard wing (19:55), which further invalidates any attempted comparison to what's in that video to the DCS module. Third, the pilot interviews don't specify what timeframe these happened. Most likely it was pre-stall strip installation. Which brings me to the fourth point, the "flipping on it's back" is NOT caused by torque alone! It's caused by a combination of torque and the port wing stalling before the starborad wing, which is the whole reason we have that stall strip in the first place.

[LAUNCHING] Launch DCS, Launch DCS, Launch DCS, Launch DCS, Launch DCS
Polo replied to SOLIDKREATE's topic in General Bugs
Looks like either a mod or a script is the cause of the crashing. Have you tried loading without any mods or plugins? -

Have you already tried removing all of your mods (if you have any) and running a repair? -
Helmets mess up their hair. I'm a civ (former Air Wing Marine) employee of a company currently working at Davis Monthan with a C-130 unit. USAF Herk bubbas don't wear helmets. Marine Corps Herk pilots don't either. Not even the Blue Angels Fat Albert guys and they are slamming that airplane around every demo. Please get rid of the helmets on the pilot models. You made a beautiful airplane but I just watched Ralfidude's video and it's the first thing I saw because it's the most unrealistic possible. Give them medium reg haircuts (with product) and David Clark headsets. Make it realistic.

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
Cgjunk2 replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
I agree with your sentiments, but personally I do feel it should be among the highest priority items. The flight starts on the ground, and ground handling should, at the very least, feel as if it lines up with physical realities. If it feels completely wrong the second you start your taxi, it's very off-putting. -
No, the grips don't have the slider (although the wheel can be a substitute if you don't also need an analog rotary), the latching 3pos or the spdbrk switch Closest currently is the virpil cm. No spdbrk switch but the slider can be configured as a latching 3pos.

The few times that I've landed on the carrier, I've been able to catch a wire for the most part. But I have noticed that it takes full pitch input with nearly full nose up trim to get nose angle high enough for a three point arrival on the deck. Seems to fly like a very nose-heavy aircraft with full nose-up trim.

Yeah, the current situation pretty much sucks for everyone. Unless you can move to a country with a stable trade policy, there's not much you can do about it.

The instantaneous acceleration when they are using the cat shot seems pretty intense. I get a headache just watching it lol.

It looks to me in both tracks you are notching the radar on the enemy Tomcat as soon as it fires a missile or in the one case you break lock by hiding behind the hill. If he's not STT'ed, the track is lost or put into memory. (There is some DCS goofiness with how the AI does things as far as RWR indications from their aircraft.) In both tracks, the first missile fired reacquires you using it's own onboard radar and then either doesn't have enough energy to reach you, or runs out of battery power. Your defense here is actually excellent (Other than the dumping of countermeasures near missile launch), because of the trajectory and how slow the missile usually is, it becomes impossible for it to reach you if you turn 180 and burn. It's about what I expect from the AI. It is a very difficult missile to employ against the small fighters.
-
The Maverick isn't really maneuverable either, so make sure you fire at an acceptable distance within reasonable limits. And like Czar said, you should upload a short track for us to see what's happening.

CPR is Central Priority Rendering (tick box in the Pimax PLay settings), but it appears it might be making IL2 crash.
