  1. Past hour
  2. You're not testing that with unlimited ammo, are you?
  3. Okay. Please keep me posted if you don’t hear back from support regarding the RMA.
  4. Hi Reflected, I just wanted to say how much I’m enjoying MIG KILLER. The campaign is not only very well put together, but also highly educational. The level of detail and the flow of the missions kept me fully immersed from the very beginning. I’m currently on mission 4, having just completed the intense 2 vs 1 engagement, and I can’t wait to continue and see what’s coming next. Being a long-time F-4 fan, this campaign feels like a perfect fit for me. On top of that, the documentation you included is outstanding—clear, well-structured, and of the highest quality. It really adds depth to the whole experience and makes the campaign feel both authentic and accessible. Thanks for all the effort and passion you put into your work. Looking forward to your next projects!
  5. I've been flying with the Super for four days now, and I'm afraid I have to say that I can't “get used to it.” It's just too obvious. As soon as you focus on a point and then move your head slightly, it becomes clearly visible. Besides, I know from my Crystal OG what it looks like without any Mura at all. That's why I can't accept it. Support has already responded. First, I should try adjusting the IPD. Of course, that didn't help because Mura has nothing to do with it. After all, I can see Mura with each eye individually. If that doesn't work, I'll get “ship first, return later” and an “extended return window by 7 days.” Let's see if the next panel is better.
  6. I hadn't thought of doing actual FPS drops etc. turning DCS into ARMA3. Would be very cool. Can't see it coming though
  7. Were there any changes to the mod to adapt to the new thermal map textures?
  8. Forget the mirrors, what happened with SPO-15? (there was influencer video stating ED made statements in relation to SPO-15)
  9. Airshow is not "normal" case either.
  10. This is an important point, all my YouTube videos use the DCS track as a base and I noticed a long time ago that certain modules behave better than others in a track recording. as a broad brush, A2A combat is less certain than A2G, the more units in play the more margin for error, speeding up the track seems to create more errors, better hardware i.e. CPU / GPU / memory all had a positive effect on my track replays but as everyone has said, if you end up in front of a grand jury judge do not rely on your DCS track as evidence to save you!
  12. Actually it is quite normal. Pilots rarely use mirrors in flight. Only used in leading formations or BFM. Then again it all comes down to preference and needs depending on the situation. And if sun is behind, it can blind pilot in certain angles.
  13. I'll have to try it again because the offset when I was aligned with the runway axis was in excess of the 3 degrees indicated on the mission editor. In the Viper's ILS did you input the course as-is from the included IFR chart (278 degrees)?
  14. There is undeniably a fps-hit when using mirrors in DCS. Maybe you don't notice it in VR because you are over the treshold of fixed fps with your HMD with and without mirrors. It can become a problem when a user JUST reaches the needed fps without mirrors. Anyways. The mirror-issue in DCS is twofold... - the performance hit (which is probably unavoidable) - the visual implementation (on and off), which is hit and miss across all modules (ED and third party). In VR this is even more noticeable. I prefer Mirrors off and I appreciate it very much when the "off" graphics still looks good and are not just a black hole. (foldable mirrors are also neat).
  15. I simply can't stop thinking how much fun and immersion it has to be, when you get hit at 20k feet and spiral down in a 360° motion sim rig, trying to pull the eject handle.
  16. They open only with emergency release. pilots enter from cabin door.
  17. Next to those, I can imagine a couple of other variables in the telemetry that could be used to identify such an event. They should be available in MP (accel e.g.). Shouldn't be hard to figure out how to detect a "kill" event by proxy if neccessary. With reasonable accuracy. VPforce did it for the Rhino (The stick used to jolt forward when hitting the ground - now it doesn't anymore). Maybe they could ask him for advise.
  19. The latter. It has the advantage of working consistently the same over all helicopter modules. (Including Mods). I haven't noticed any downsides yet.
  20. Today
  21. So what is going on with the new SPO-15 in new module?
  22. It’s not normal to fly with the mirrors folded up. But it’s currently the only way unless we want to take a heavy FPS hit and deal with low quality rendering in the mirrors. So the static reflection adds a bit of immersion for those who don’t use the mirror rendering. I have played DCS with a large group for over 10 years and none of them has the mirrors turned on in any aircraft. The tradoffs vs gain is simply too high. Would it be nice to be able to enjoy MiG-29 without the look of folded-up mirrors? Yes. I’ll guess we have to wait for the mirror improvements. But it has to be at least double the performance and visual quality from current standard to be worth it (in my opinion). Anyways, it’s just my take on the topic.
  23. Wie bereits per PN geschrieben, lass einfach mal zusammen auf Nellis ein wenig fliegen, dann gehts bedeutend schneller voran. Meld dich, wenn du Bock hast.
  24. From Mirage F1 Flight Manual page 96: "When the button is pressed, the sight changes to cannon air-to-air mode with radar guidance, the outer missiles are selected and a green light on the side of the sight mount turns on. Further short presses of the button release the current radar lock and command a radar search in front of the current target. A long press of the button commands the restart of the search pattern from the initial position." If you want to re-lock the same target you should long press C+M button.
