  1. Past hour
  2. Hi reflected! Given your incredible knowledge in the source data, could we pretty please have a sticky post with your suggested readings? Something like your suggestions at the end of a campaign file but unified under a single post. can’t wait to see your PTO work and hopefully one day Vietnam!
  3. +1
  4. Has some updated planned by HB https://trello.com/b/HsMiJggJ/heatblur-public-roadmap
  5. For explosion in zone, or explosion on unit, can we add a listbox to specified : - Normal explosion - Fire explosion (Like the explosion effect we have when destroying fuel reservoir) - Cluster explosion - Other (if exists) It will be great!
  6. Wags has put info about Iraq on the Sniper pod videos, show Mosul zone...
  7. Well i cant comment on that as im no pilot nor have i ever handled a corsair myself. The thread/bug report is about differential braking not working. Well it does work. With zero to little wind. If people cannot taxi with zero wind its a "skill issue" to put it bluntly. But i agree that the influence seems excessive. Again, "seems", as i have no rl experience. As will most folks on here. Anyway im repeating myself. Would be nice indeed if the mag3 guys could check into that. We just have to wait.
  8. You're welcome Nix. Yeah, I thought it's DCS problem. Next try, I will try to take-off faster . And eventually, send wingman to refuel with Arco . I have no mod installed, besides TacView. I know, TacView could do a mess, but it's a great tool for debriefing. Thank you for your answer. Yes, The Rampagers is a great campaign and I'm really enjoying it. Thank you, for this campaign!
  9. thank @PorcoRosso86
  10. Is it planned civils or non armed unit? - Hostage to resqued - Pilots for CAS missions - VIP to transport etc... It will be appreciated to have somes civilans units and some pilots models
  11. Still nonsence. So it would be nice from Mag3 to affirm a bug and give some perspektive for a solution.
  12. Rocket in zone will be a great addition. But it we be cool for "missile in zone" / "bomb in zone" / "rocket in zone" to have a field "ALL". It prevent all type of weapon to trigger.
  13. Thank You for the help. Deep Respect Sir
  14. With 10 kts is somewhat still doable. Ive done the tracks with that. 10 kts is roughly 5m/s wind. Double that and youre stuck.
  15. I can tell that this is nonsence because otherwise that plane would never have been used during the war, since nobody could deactivate wind in real life. I´m sure with a fair amount of wind you would notice that it doesn´t turn that easy, but unless there is a thunderstorm, I´m pretty sure the original Corsair could handle 10 kts of crosswind while taxiing.
  16. As was said, i cant say if the f4u is wrong in that regard, or EDs models never took weathervaning into account. But then, the corsair is pretty large and has a huge rudder compared to other warbirds. Also at 10 kts / 5m/s it was still kinda managable, but you noticed the effects. Double the amount and it wasnt possible anymore, as per my tracks.
  17. Thanks @paloncho. Yes, unfortunately, this would be a bug relating to DCS wingman behaviours and is not something we can control in the missions. This may have been a one off, but if you often have odd issues with the wingman, common causes may be unlicensed third-party mods installed (not including SRS or Open Kneeboard) - see Common Issues and Bugs section. Common mods like Viacom and even Tacview (sorry) are known to cause some issues in campaigns. If the problem persists, you would still be able to complete the mission for example by letting wingman engage with Mavericks and then order it to rejoin. Hope you're otherwise enjoying your deployment. Ram On!
  18. Mission running great now. Just fixing last bug and testing, could take a week
  19. Thanks @BIGNEWY! Perhaps the Vulkan implementation could help
  20. Have you tried using a VPN as well?
  21. Today
  22. Может восстановление сборки вылечит?
  23. As Edge from U2 would say: A long delay ...
  24. Thanks @KENNY1988. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about these DCS wingman AI behaviour bugs. There's nothing in the mission or scripting that tells it to do this. However, looking at your Tacview, I suspect the problem is that your wingman took off almost a minute ahead you. It can confuse it making it decide to prepare for recovery (jettison full tanks and hook down). Other common causes to odd wingman behaviours can be unlicensed third-party mods installed (not including SRS or Open Kneeboard) - see Common Issues and Bugs section. Common mods like Viacom and even Tacview (sorry) are known to cause some issues in campaigns. If the problem persists, and it is only dropping its tanks, then I suggest you just continue the mission and let wingman be wingman. Hope you're otherwise enjoying your deployment. Ram on.
  25. Cool, thanks for sharing this!
