  1. Past hour
  2. Ever tried this: To add DLSS MFD clarity in DCS World, create or edit the autoexec.cfg file in your Saved Games/Config/ folder and add the line HUD_MFD_after_DLSS = true to prevent MFDs from blurring with DLSS enabled. And also, are sure you are running the right dlss version with the right profile? (k)
  3. Is it IAS or TAS you are discussing about ?
  4. That 5090 will do you good in lots of other use cases to. Hope you will be happy - but to make sure you will be happy in DCS with Crystal Super - follow the guide in this video from Tallymouse. Personally I have been into VR since 2017, but this video really helped me with the Super and DCS:
  5. The first Wolfpack was already a blast and the attention to historical detail was impressive. Can’t wait to see how Overlord builds on that experience, specially the missions tied to the D-Day operations
  6. Печально...А сколько громких слов было сказано...В общем,как всегда...
  7. As stated, we are working on a new and improved reflection system; it has not progressed as far as we would like, but the issue is known and reported. That said, in that time we implemented a slider as a work around where you can adjust the strength of the reflections, while I am not sure if its functional in all modules yet, it is working in the Dore, see the image below.
  8. Because it looks better, and DLSS makes a mush in MFD/TGP.
  9. да, спрашивал недавно, говорят мол нечего народу показать как всегда убрали в долгий ящик, ведь он бесплатный
  10. Below I am attaching real photographs of the MiG-29 cockpit, which show that the backlighting of the clock is not as bright as in the module under development. They don't have that striking yellow clock highlight . And also that the backlighting of the clock does not differ in shade from the other instruments:
  11. You got a track or something? It works when tested on our end. That aside, the actual signal is coming from ED plus map metadata. So potentially, if there is actually an issue, we might not be able to do sth about it. But step by step, lets first try to get hands on a short track that reproduces the issue [emoji106]
  12. To be fair, the route tool was added post release. Its not an "oversight" in that sense. But yeah, its on the list :)
  13. Hi I am looking for a bit of advice/direction. My game has worked flawlessly until I started the Apache outpost campaign. I can fly the apache in all the instant action and mission files and I have all the other campaigns for the apache and have had no problems. I have many of the other aircraft and their campaigns (WW2, 4th Gen fighters and most of the rotary aircraft) and have never had any crashes. Stone Sky was kind enough to do some analysis for me and recommended I change the values on my core processors. His analysis is on the Stone Sky/ Outpost/ bugs forum (CTD). I am not a neophyte, but I'm not a computer expert either and I get a little nervous changing things in the BIOS (worried about overclocking and overheating among other things). Since it is only the one module/campaign I'm having a problem with, is it worth the risk to attempt to change the values? Is there anything else you might suggest based on Stone Sky's analysis or the log file (attached)? Thoughts? dcs.20210514-031725.crash dcs.20210514-160957.crash dcs.20210514-191401.crash
  14. I see your briefing time is 11pm EST, if ever you move back an hour I'd be able to make it as a hornet guy.
  15. It does matter because you won't be able to see the radar signal and it's source if you aren't in the lobe and being painted by it. A bit like how your RWR requires that the radar paint you before it knows that it is there and what direction the signal is coming from.
  16. Today
  17. I'd agree - I am on standalone, just saying ED will want presales from people who aren't
  18. Do you perhaps have a short track showcasing your attempts?
  19. The flight director in the vertical sense dosen't command correctly for intercepting the glidslope. When intercepting from below - I'm getting a signal and a fly up indication which is correct but does not follow the glideslope down when intercepting. Interceptions from above show a full scale fly down, and once the glide is captured the flight director shows and stays at half scale fly down. Localizer and radial intercepts are just about perfect as you want ! Admittedly I've only used it on the Nevada ILS 21L 109.10...
  20. That's what I thought also. In that case, it should not matter for Shrike where the tracking radar is directed at: me or some other target.
  21. The Su-27 has been around for a long time, so a lot of content providers no longer give it much attention. Is there something in particular you’re looking for? Here are a couple of random things I’ve created in the past that you might find interesting:
  22. Use the launcher to disable them. If everything fails, unistall DCS through the uninstaller and re install DCS with the .exe found on the website. It should be a stress free alternative. You'll end up with a DCS with no modules installed and will be able to build from there. Invest into storage. New modules coming up will increase DCS size...
  23. The problem I saw in Wags' latest video is that there was "knots", "feet" and "miles" everywhere on the gauges. Yes I'm aware that you can set English cockpit and English avionics options separately, but those are LANGUAGE options and it seems in DCS they also change the UNITS without saying that they do. I hope that on launch we'll be able to set English LANGUAGE while retaining the proper UNITS. Because if you set English cockpit and Native avionics, parts of the cockpit will still be in Russian (it's like that in current modules as well such as Mi-24). Again, those options should just affect the language, not the units.
  24. Unter dem Link kann man sich die Farbschemen der "Bundeswehr MIG-29" ansehen...sind mehr, als ich dachte...: MIG-29 GERMAN LIVERIES
  25. It does not track the beam itself, it tracks the source. The main lobe is the area that the primary radar signal travels through and the shrike will track the emitting source based on look angle. It will cross into the main lobe eventually. The loft takes it higher than the beam usually anyway.
  26. @BIGNEWY Although it is a small percentage of the DCS user-base that uses display exports, it is arguably the most passionate slice of the user-base, and probably the ones that spend the most money on peripherals and modules. ED is constantly thanking us for our "passion and support", but you seem to be ignoring (or at least downgrading) some of the requests from your most passionate supporters. Please consider allocating some resources to this and other "niche" bugs (like display exports being too dark). These passionate users tend to spread the word about how awesome DCS can be, and I would think keeping them happy is worth something.
