Hi, When using the TADS to generate a target location for the AGM-114L RF missile, the missile cannot receive updated target data from the TADS after the original target handover is complete (after the TARGET DATA? message is removed from the bottom of the TADS symbology). Re-lasing after the target handover is performed will not fix the problem. However, since the laser must also be used to measure the range to determine if the target is even in range prior to a target handover, the proper procedure is not to action RF missiles until you have determined that the target is indeed ready to be engaged, so that a reliable and up-to-date target handover can be performed immediately prior to missile launch. When using George AI CPG, this means instructing him to action RF missiles after the target is within 8 kilometres and ready for a target handover and immediate launch. hope that helps

@BIGNEWY Sorry for ruffling your feathers but it's frustrating. Especially when you see downloads listed in this post from outside users/modders from a couple of years ago that still works now with the latest build of DCS, not perfect but usable. -

Coucou Silverdevil, tu es reparti à la plage ? Hi Silverdevil, did you go back to the beach?

Yes, Pferdsfeld has been cleaned up nicely. As already reported, taxiway lines and the taxiway lights placement have been improved and the large kighting masts at the flightline are gone. Thanks Ugra!

@draconus If it's already loaded onto the aircraft. If you change your loadout nope, need the full time. @Esac_mirmidon Re-read from my original post: "Needs a similar time to the lightning BIT time in special menu or similar" Or similar.. AKA whatever those who implement or the majority of users see fit. You are correct, neither did I ask for alignment at cold start. Just hinting at any workable alternative for getting around the 11mins. I also see that the 11 mins is fine for those who cold start as with ins alignments etc that time is acceptable, as you stated. I was talking about those of us who hot start. Really not sure why you keep trying to steer my point away from a simple suggestion I was making which does not affect you. Seems simple to me which is: those of us who do hot start, the 11 min warmup is too long to make it ever useful to use. Other than, its not you or your squad's use case.

Is that even possible? I found the left and right markings to make sure I didn't. But clearly I must have something strange because I can not imagine it is supposed to be like this. I had no problems fitting a Top strap on a Crystal Light some time back, but this one is a bit different it seems.

I created a JACT mission, and the laser marvick can track the JACT laser signal before firing, but always loses the signal after firing. So what I got wrong for the firing or the mission editing? I've attached the mission track and the mission file for you guys to analyzing. I've thought is it a bug for sina map? Course the same setup would work in Causscu map. Mavric laser problems.trk Sinai map groud..miz

Seriously? You mean the consistency of suddenly flipping from 'we are still working on a resolution and we will tell you when we have one' to 'we signed an agreement to resolve the conflict 8 months ago'?

Landing the Mustang without nose into the ground

Control panel shows a contiuous ribbon. Axis tune says otherwise. Maybe it's a Saitek thing. .. -
Can you perhaps expand on your issue a bit? Like did you set the frequency for the FAC beforehand? What is "contacting ATC is hit or mis"? What exactly do you mean the comm menu does nothing? Which aircraft? Did you set the frequency for the units? Did you set the frequency for your own aircraft? Pressed correct PTT button? Within radio range? Line of sight to the unit? Do you have example missions and tracks to upload?

It would also help greatly to be able to grab control just to bail it out when the AI drives it into impossible situations.

I think you are missunderstanding this. Razbam did not leave DCS yet. And even if they will cut all lines in the future they can claim a reason for this, namely not beeing payd for their sales. So the question if Razbam is forced to give out the code by contract could well be part of the litigation and therefore ED should better not claim that they will have access to it in the future.

Missing USSR airbases in the upcoming Afghanistan map
Ronin_Gaijin replied to Ronin_Gaijin's topic in Wish List
For air cover, an anti-aircraft missile brigade was included in the 40th Army, and one squadron of MiG-21 fighter and fighter-bomber aircraft flew to the airfields of the DRA. The fighters belonged to the 115th Guards IAP, based at the Kokaydi airfield in Turkmenistan, commanded by Lieutenant Colonel P. I. Nikolaev. Kokaydi was, as they say, right behind the mountain, just fifty kilometres from the border - in the Jarqoʻrgʻon District of the Surxondaryo Region, being one of the airfields closest to the border. MiG-21bis from the 115th Guards IAP. One of the squadrons of the regiment had the honorary name "Soviet Lithuania" since the war. I have highlighted it to the team again, especially for VR but we need some free dev time for the lighting tasks and we do not have that currently. -
Still wondering if anyone has thoughts on this... because unless I'm missing something, ED did say they'd retain the files, and now we're finding out they don't. That's not a legal gray area, and unless I am missing something that seems like a broken promise to customers?

How to increase the rendering distance of grass and bushes?
Kuky replied to unmar's topic in Texture/Map Mods for DCS World
I'd like this grass distance to be increased too and I've been trying to find if there is a way (used to be before) but I can't find it either. -

That is exactly what was supposed to happen after hawk - all "future" modules were supposed to be secured. But considering that ED is very silent about that we do not know if it ever happened. Maybe they could not agree to the terms of that "handing over" and in reality not even one new module is secure. Or maybe all new contracts include it. Take your pick

@PhantomHans Good point, u mean an alternate DCS reality where Grumman did not get murdered for political reason?
