  2. When starting the engines, it is necessary to wait 40-50 seconds after starting one engine to allow the starter to stabilize. Only then should the second engine be started. The automatic start in this module does not respect this and starts the second engine immediately after the first engine has finished starting.
  3. Hello hello. Major updates here. First, a van passenger seat has been installed. Junkyard, 25 bucks. Super adjustable. Will be replaced eventually with a moving seat for motion. Second, pedals installed. Using winwing with a FFB kit. They are magnet mount so repairs can be done easily. Might hard bolt it down, not sure yet. I did finally get the vprhino installed as well. 50 amp power supply is located in the foot area of the sim. Third, panels. I will have it cut out of wood by this Sunday and begun the final install of everything. Will be soft mounting the screen for the displays as the final version will be magnetic mount as well. This is due to a pair of stiffening bars behind the front panel. Can't install the screens in their housings because of those bars. Fourth, I should have all the cockpit panels done by Sunday as well. I was going to use tek, but my dad talked me into learning it and building my own. Using the dcs bios kit master-slave system instead. Anyone interested in the tek left side panel, fire panel, armement panel, happy to sell it all. Fifth, the computer rack is done and I'm currently downloading dcs onto it. Literally an army surplus server rack hard case with a 4u rig plus a server rack screen keyboard combo. It's Belgian keyboard so that's neat. Sixth and finally, I've included a shot of the paint cans I used. Highly recommend them for accurate military paint. They do have gallon and quart sizes but rattle cans are great too. Until next time.
  4. The command bars on the attitude indicator do not work. When the ADI is turned off, they should be on the side of the ADI. In the MiG-29, similar to the MiG-21bis, this type of ADI and these crossbars should be able to provide information about the necessary pitch and roll to capture the RSBN radial, information about the aircraft's position relative to the localizer and glideslope. I believe that even in Return mode, the ADI should provide information about the necessary pitch and roll.

Literally all this crap could be coded into a script.lua file and let the 'casual' players to enjoy DCS graphics while playing WT I'm NOT saying that ED should do it just that is possible and .... man even I am piss3d by that guy The time ED spend codding and debugging, the money we spend on modules, terrains and now this is what we all miss?! WTF

So again, not weird at all for those who are familiar with professional military or commercial aviation in the west. Military or commercial is not the point. The point is that even in Russia the labels were not changed into local language.

  18. One of the things that makes DCS maps so special is the level of detail and immersion, but as more maps are released, many of us are starting to notice the growing overlap between them. This creates a lot of potential—but also some frustration—for both mission creators and users who own multiple maps. The wish: Going forward, I hope ED finds a way to allow assets and detail improvements from newer maps to be ported or shared across overlapping areas on older maps. This would benefit: Every map → keeping them visually consistent and up to date. Mission creators → providing a richer, more unified sandbox to build in. Users who bought overlapping maps → rewarding their investment with an improved experience across all the terrain they already own. I would personally be happy to pay for enhancements to my existing maps if that’s what it takes. If there’s one thing ED is very good at, it’s convincing us to open our wallets —and this would be a worthy cause! Such a system would significantly improve the map ecosystem as a whole, reduce fragmentation, and future-proof our investment in DCS terrain. P.S. Thank you for adding H3 bases to Iraq map and finish Liwa AFB for PG!
  19. This is just weird. It never working from day 1... and then after a workaround was found, instead of fixing the issue properly - they block the workaround! Then official replies stopped with no further information about anything to do with this issue. What is going on internally at ED?!?
  20. @TFS Post your DCS.log? Also, no point of reinstallation. A full repair takes care of that. And I'm a little confused. Did you reinstall DCS or just the map through the Module Manger? Cheers!

  22. Checked weather settings and while browse the area with F11 noticed this looked like an Aircraft Boneyard. Coordinates in the picture.
  23. I suggest you do some searching on the forums regarding this. The new pod is deliberately (and correctly) worse than the "existing" pod in the F-16 because the previously modelled one was much clearer than it should have been vs IRL. There are also tips on how to get a clearer picture (don't fly the F-16 much currently so I can't tell exactly what will help).

I have two problems with your suggestion of "easy" options: 1 - it's going to require a good chunk of dev time that's already at a premium. 2 - every option like that you add is inevitably going to cause at least some bloat and performance hit. IMO, this would be a hit for no reason. And as a third comment, DCS had an "easy flight" mode (forget exactly what it was called) that did at least some of what you are looking for that was removed due to amount of effort to keep it functional and limited usage. So while you can certainly wish for this, you might as well move on and find a game that better suits what you're looking for because the chances of DCS going that way are pretty slim.
  25. Just set the fuel at 50% while you have unlimited enabled? I don't really see what that will accomplish. Sorry! You're talking about something other than DCS to be honest. There's a reason people come here after WT it seems. Though I haven't really tried WT extensively enough to really comment about it. You have been here long enough to have noticed that many do not consider this a game.
