  3. Hajduk you know that war or real life conflicts arent about being balanced ? Balance is stuff for games. You use this 1:10 argument for years now. Get over it.

  4. Whoa fellas... there's no reason to use banding for scope movement, by which I think you mean TDC slew. Just go in game to Mouse (then Axis switch)>> TDC slew (horizontal, vertical) >>> set the top one to Axis 0 and bottom one to Axis 1 ... This will allow you to slew TDC and Shkval. The only thing I do with the mini-mouse in the profile editor is change sensitivity. Are you sure you allowed SST to install all 4 drivers during the first installation? Works really well... Shkval and TDC move quikley to where they're needed. Also, I like the pinkie as "shift" Keep working on your profile... don't borrow anyone elses...it will be much better for you

  5. Set your dead-zone on both the X and Y axis at 47% - 53% (3 bands:0-47%; 47-53%; 53-100%). I have mini-stick mapped as the target designator as afore-said with no hassle. Also map the Pinkie switch as Shift in Profile Editor. Effectively doubles your programmable options. Can help you with a SU25T Profile if you're interested.

  7. h My experience at this issue is that when i change the key commands in lockon with his own editor and use also a custom saitek-profil, I quickly lost the overview and other commands that worked fine could easyly be messed up. I follow the simple rule to leave all by its default and changing only things in the saitek profileditor. (Tip!: open lockon in windowed-mode and also the saitek profile editor at one time, so you can easy switch between them and check your Profile instantly. That saved me plenty of time!) I think you could only configure it in the Saitek profile editor by setting the wished movement range to a key command (so it works with my X45).

  8. In response to Hell SQN Protos I am not taking a "personal" side in this debate. But if i am allowed I will input my opinion on it If it is just about fighters, then why is the SU25 & (t), a-10 included. They are not fighters. They are dedicated ground pounding platforms only. So if we have learned to accept aircraft such as the 25 and a-10 as acceptable airframes included in this sim, then i see no reason why the black shark would not fall under the same catagory. I originally thought "who cares" when they announced black shark. But the more i hear about it, the more it sparks my interest. A supposed 300+ page manual and growing (as stated on another thread), AFM, 6DOF and full clickable cockpit. Those things alone encompass the ideals behind a sim. Take into that consideration with better ground textures and the "supposed" additional fixes to other areas of the sim outside of the BS that have been disregarded for so long. And that may be enough to warrant a look at the expansion in itself. Using the justification of the words "Fighter Sim" to denounce the BS add on is unfounded in my opinion. Purely becuase dedicated ground attack platforms have been an important part of this sim since day one. 1) BS is a dedicated ground attack platform. 2) It fits into the realm of battlefield that Lockon has created. 3) It may be the most indepth simulated aircraft in the lock on world yet and possibly the most indepth helo sim in the entire genre. For those reasons alone, it is a justified expansion wether its your idea of fun, or not. Of course. This is all conjecture as i, like many, have no idea of what it will be like. And until then i can only go by what i read (which sounds promissing). But i will not purchase it until i understand a lot more about it in case it does suck monkey butt. As for your last statement that no one will purchase this when FO comes out. I am not sure i share your sentiments. FO has no planned release date. My estimations would be end of 2007 earliest (but i could be horribly wrong). And the first release will be the UPT training only. Combat aircraft will be released in the addons later, provided the original sells to expectations. FO sounds on paper what I and a lot of people want. It has set itself a very high standard. Yet it still won't encompass PC helos (well not for some time). Therefore BS will still hold a place in the market for some time. Even if it is only to a neiche market. But who knows.

  9. So as others have said, Protos: If you don't like it, don't buy it. To be honest, having seen the holier than thou attitude you display (and the crap you post) on both this forum, and over on the Il-2 forums (dunno if you're still as active there since I haven't been to their forums in a while) the community would be better off without you. Just incase you don't get it, let me spell it out for you: No one gives a damn what you think. Black Shark will be what Black Shark will be. If you don't like it, move along. Posting your bile and insulting members of this community won't turn Black shark into anything different. Save your money for Fighter Ops if you think that'll be more your style.

  11. Since when does a reseller know a releasedate before the programmers do? There is no release date, there never was and there won't be until it's done. So, reactivate your brains and wait for news first hand, not from somebody looking into some crystall ball.
